It took 2-3 times before I really noticed the difference as far as my skin and hair. My hair is silkier, my skin is SO much more soft! Even the balls of my feet - which have been chronically dry for 20 years - are now as soft as you can imagine! I haven’t done anything different except change the filter. My hair, which was falling out prior to changing the filter, has started to not fall as much, so I have hope that it will completely stop shedding soon. This is probably the best deal for this product (that I was able to find). Each filter lasts for approximately 6 months and you get two filters to start, which is an amazing deal! So once you buy this product you will only need to purchase a replacement filter after over a year of use! It is also very effective in removing all the gross stuff that we don't want in our water. I'd know because where I live, the water is extremely hard, and gives off a very noticeable chlorine scent. Immediately after installing and flushing out the new filter, I noticed that the chlorine smell was gone and the water was way softer on my skin during my first shower. My hair is softer and my skin is no longer dried out. I love this product!!! If you are unhappy with your town's water, then definitely consider this product. We have tested this to see if it really does filter, however it did remove all the chlorine smell as soon as we installed it. We've used this for 4 months now (2 adult household) and still no chlorine smell (It was very strong before we put a filter on). Unit installs easily. Did not disrupt water flow but does lower the shower head by a few inches but not a problem for us. We are both approx. 5'7ish. You can replace the cartridges rather than the entire unit when needed which is nice. All in all we would purchase this again.

So far I like this product. It was easy to install. It does filter the water and I can feel it on my skin. My skin is not as dry as it used to be after showering. Also, I notice less hard water build up in my shower. So far good product, I recommended to my daughter. Although I do wish it would swivel more. I feel like my shower head doesn't swivel the same. But, thats beside the point the product does what its supposed to. Happy 😊

Installed easily. Does not change the water pressure while using a low-flow shower head. Followed instructions on running the shower for 5-10 min before using. Working great! San Francisco water has deteriorated since 2017 when they started mixing groundwater with the Hetch Hetchy water. Whatever is now in the water (their story is the groundwater is treated but NOT filtered) made for an awful shower - dried out hair and stinging eyes etc. just awful. This shower head made a huge improvement - no more stinging eyes! Feels much nicer too. Even my husband is impressed with how nice the shower water is now that we are using this shower head. Almost like we have 100% Hetch Hetchy water again!

The unit was effective, and has worked well for a few years, but now I can't replace the filter because the main unit will not unscrew & open. Looks like I'll need to buy an entire new main part simply because it's permanently stuck shut. Not expensive, but bummed out I have to needlessly replace the entire thing.

This filter was easy to install and we notice a difference from the hard water issues. My skin wasn't itchy and my hair felt cleaner and soft.

I moved to an area where the water was like pure chlorine. My hair dried, I could taste it my skin suffered. I racked over all the shower filters and chose this one. IT IS GREAT. Hair back to shiny, skin soft. I bought a second for guest shower. Not hudge and ugly. They gave you an extra cartridge , which only has to be changed once a year depending on frequency of use. WOW! But seriously. Great product. Easy to install comes with everything possibly you need. Price good as well. Recommend!!!!!!
