This book fell a little flat for me. It wasn’t one of Kindle Alexander’s best. I couldn’t figure out why until I was seventy to eighty percent into the novel when I realized the reason for the hollow feeling: the story wasn’t going to wrap up but continue on in the next book. I don’t mind continuation but I rarely get that from this author. So, I was a bit surprised.However, I did enjoy the dynamics with Keyes and Alec. I felt particularly saddened by both their predicament. Keyes: fragile in so many ways but hides it behind a tough exterior due to the way he was raised. He didn’t want anyone in the biker club to think less of him because he was gay. But that didn’t stop his father for insulting him every chance he got. Keyes was trapped by loyalty and obligation.Alec, desperately want to live life on his own terms but he too was trapped by his family. On one hand, he wanted to no involvement in politic but on the other hand, he wanted the approval of his father. Alec knew he was being used by his family but he yearned to have their love because they had mostly shunned him all his life for being gay. Alec too was trapped by the need to please and acceptance.I adored Alec, he was a straight shooter when it came to Keyes. He didn’t hold anything back. He wanted Keyes and he went after him until he got him. But, with that being saying, I wished he’d stood up to his so call friend instead of letting the man run shotgun all over him. However, Keyes wasn’t too quick to act when it came to Alec mostly because he was afraid that someone in the club would find out he was messing around with an Attorney. I wanted him to throw caution to the wind and fight for Alec.I love a slow burn read when it's done right. And as I said this one didn’t quite do it for me. It wasn’t up there with her: A Nice Guys Novel. That series was done really, well. The pace was reasonable considering there’s more to come. But when I opened the book to read it, I thought it was going to be like her other books, read, read, and read until I was done. I sat this book aside for two days then came back to it. I usually finish reading one her books in two to three days but this one took seven days to finish.To me, Kindle is still one of the best MM Romance Author. I love her writing style. Although this book wasn’t highly engaging as her other books it still did the job. I can’t say that I’m waiting on pins and needle for the next book in the series but I know as soon as its available I’ll buy it. And, the reason is: I want to know what’s going to happen with or to Keyes and Alec once their families find out.I can’t give this one my usual stamp of a Kindle Alexander approval of four to five stars. Three and a half stars.If you love MM romance, I recommend this book despite my low rating. Its good but for me, it wasn’t great.

I have read all her books. This one, I struggled to finish. I don’t know why it’s describes as if it could read as a stand alone when so many things are left in the air! It felt incomplete and disjointed and patched together. The relationships, both the MCs and supporting characters felt like they where missing the glue that keeps the story cohesive and relevant. I felt like I didn’t get a good grasp on the MCs relationship even though the story dragged on for longer than it needed to go. I feel like nothing of consequence happened to possibly build the next books in the series.

Opposites attract. Two words that definitely describe the intense love affair between Keyes Dixon and Alec Pierce. Wow these two have a chemistry that was apparent right from the start and I was consumed immediately. Kindle Alexander did not hold back with this first book in the Tattoos and Ties series. They once again give us the very best in the M/M genre as they put together a combustible kind of romance that is full of every kind of emotion. I honestly could not put it down!With Alec and Keyes we get two men who couldn't be more different if they tried. But that doesn't keep their feelings locked down even when they know that their worlds might just be far too different to keep their lust and deep like for one another afloat. The attorney and the biker. On paper it looks almost laughable. But damn, Alexander makes it work almost effortlessly.The requisite sex scenes are as always, some of the best written in this genre and with each new tryst, Alec and Keyes couldn't help but fall for one another. But this secret romance, one that has each of them revealing deep-held thoughts to each other is enough to keep their souls in knots. I love these guys and I just want them happy. And they are, for now as they say. I can only keep my fingers crossed that Alec's uptight and rich family together with Keyes's MC brothers will accept these two as a couple and just simply let them love one another.Getting lost in the words of Kindle Alexander is always a joy and I can't wait to read the next installment early next year. I do believe Keyes and Alec will join the long line of favorite couples that only Kindle Alexander can deliver.Havoc is another beautifully written story that is as heartfelt as it is sexy, and I give it a solid 5 stars.

Another amazing read!! The intensity of Keyes and Alec is intense that it draws you into the story until you reach the end. This book I felt was slightly different from KA previous work in some ways. It was different in that the story only involves the Main Characters taking their time together at only one home to slowly build this intense fire that is growing between them. Each of them are living a life where they have to hide themselves from their family and live in completely different classes yet are similar in that they crave each other and they cannot deny their attraction or walk away from each other after meeting. I enjoyed the scenes between them both xrated and pg rated as they got to know each other and how each changed their lives and not by being pushed by their lover but being inspired by them. I enjoyed the ending of this book and look forward to the continuation in book 2 which is another distinction in that a couple has never gone beyond a single novel. Which intrigues me greatly because we get to see the couple in more intense sexy scenes but also slightly outraged that I have to wait a few months to read the story again LOL.Reed's name was mentioned a lot this book. I really hope that KA has plans to rerelease Up In Arms soon cause that book is the only one I have not read yet and I have tried hunting for old copies. I want to get to know more about Reed and his love story to better appreciate the character when he has cameos or is mentioned.

Yes!! I love me some Kindle Alexander. Although they scarred me for life with Always and they're the reason i check the ending of books i always get excited when they release a book. An this one is a beaut!! Something a little different from these guys and i liked it. A lot!!Keyes is stuck with the life he has. Born into the life of an MC he's never known anything different. Being gay, life has not been easy for him and the only person he can rely on is his best friend in the MC who he grew up with. The only thing that matters to him is his business. One night he is driving out of town to get some much needed action when he encounters a broken down car. He stops to help and comes across a handsome man who obviously has money. He knows this man would never look twice at him. Obviously their lives are on different ends of the spectrum but when their eyes connect there's something there, something both of them feel. Attraction.Alec's life is mapped out for him. His father has big plans for him. Alec is going with the flow of it all, partly to get his family's acceptance and partly because he's not sure what else he would do. One night after one tedious political party at his parents house he's driving home and he gets a few flat tyres. Stuck in the middle of nowhere he accepts the rough bikers help. The connection is instant and Alec would love to see more of the gorgeous man who comes to his rescue.Alec has a battle to get Keyes to see him again but he's determined. He's never had this connection to anyone before. He's never considered anyone for more than one or two nights before but the biker has something he want's to explore more.The dynamic between these two really got me hooked. Both have very different lives but when together it's electric. They are so freaking hot together i broke out in a sweat a few times. But more than that they get each other. They may not know all of each others secrets but it's as though they do. As though they know how to comfort each other even without knowing the problem. I loved them together so much i can't wait for their happy ending, although i fear there's more of a rocky road ahead.I'm loving the plot of the push and pull both in their personality and their lifestyles. It appears as though they should never work, but they do and i for one am cheering them on all the way.Their story will draw you into their world and make you care for them both. You'll hate a lot of the side characters, some more than others and some you will be ultra suspicious of. This book will have you wondering what will come next at these two. I can see a lot of hits coming their way in the next book and i can only hope for the family they both deserve in the end.It says it's not a cliffhanger and i guess it isn't but this is not a stand alone. There is another book to come so be warned!!Highly recommend, i can't wait to find out what happens next!!5 rough ride stars

I am loving the books from this author and this one was right up there with the best from this author.This is a pairing that shouldn't work but holy hell it does,i mean a cocky DA attorney and a patched biker dude from the Havoc Motorcycle club are completely opposite as you can get, but these two together are hot as hell,you've heard the saying that opposites attract well in works as this couple together are sexy as hell.Need the next book in this duet as loved this story.

What can i say about the Kindle Alexanders, they make you wait a full year for a new story this in itself is hard enough, then they go and give you something that has you riding a roller coaster that has you stomach dipping and diving all over the place.Alec and Keyes story leads you on a journey that starts off slowly then thunders through to an end makes your heart stutter with emotions and has you asking for lots more. Then you find there is going to be so much more but you have to wait till March and you find your book hangover is gonna last several months while you jones for the next hit.Every book these ladies write gives you something you didn't realise you were missing in your life till you read their words.

This was amazing, I loved these two gorgeous men even though totally opposite in all things they gelled so beautifully. I was constantly dreading Key’s club finding out about them, but Kindle is going to keep us hanging until Book 2 as to what happens with the, and Alec’s father. Desperate for book 2 I can’t wait

Great book could not put it down once I started. 1st book I've read from this author and it certainly won't be the last.
