I had recently purchased the toilette spray and came across this on the site. All I can say is great buy and would recommend if you don't perspire heavily. Lightly scented like the toilette, but enough to smell it once it's on. Roll on lasts longer than a spray as well.

I'm always up for trying out new deodorants, so when given the opportunity, I jumped at the chance to try the Roma Uomo Deodorant Stick from Laura Biagiotti. Quite a fancy name, so my expectations were definitely high going into the test run. First off, the size of the bottle is 2.4 ounces, so you're getting a decent amount of volume here. The stick feels relatively heavy, definitely along the lines of what you would expect from a high-end deodorant stick.As for the scent, it has a very cologne-like aroma to it that is quite difficult to describe with words. The product description on Amazon states "This scent pays tribute to the timeless city of Rome. A simple top note of pungent bay leaf graduates into a heart of red geranium. Base notes of coumarin and vanilla complete this fine men's fragrance." I've never been to Rome, so I can't speak on that statement, but the rest of the description sounds about accurate, although very flowery. If I had to put it into layman's terms, I would say that it has a masculine scent with a hint of spice and vanilla. I've been using the stick for the past week or so, and even when I do an hour of cardio at the gym, it has held up very well, so performance-wise, I have been very pleased with it.I'm dropping it a star because for this deodorant to be worth the extra amount, it would almost have to act as a cologne replacement, but the scent isn't quite strong enough to make this happen. Therefore, it won't be added to my regular rotation strictly because of the price tag, but for less budget conscious users, if you end up liking the scent of this product, it is very effective and does exactly what it is supposed to do, so I'd recommend giving it a shot.

This scent reminds me of my brother-in-law. Laura Biagiotti introduced the Roma Uomo fragrance about twenty years ago and if this is not what he wears, it's exceptionally close. The Laura Biagiotti Roma Uomo Deodorant Stick for Men container resembles a Duracell battery on steroids, with the copper top that screws off of the base. The bottom twists well and rest assured that if you expose too much of the stick, you can retract it without destroying the deodorant.As for the fragrance, it is very definitely a layered concoction, with the first hit being citrus. The pungency quickly settles and softens, revealing a delicious aroma which I personally believe is not specific to men. I find myself repeatedly sniffing the area on my arm where I applied the alcohol based scent. If you have an aversion to alcohol based deodorants, I suggest avoiding this one, but if that's not an issue for you, the consistency of this stick is lovely and the opaque appearance is very attractive, too.Being that this is a deodorant, it won't stop your perspiration, but it certainly can assist in neutralizing body odor that develops. Of course, your own body will determine how the chemicals react, even more so than using the cologne. I personally find this stick to be outstanding and recommend trying this on your feet if you have the need for counteracting unappealing smells there.

I like how this deodorant stick smells! It's a decidedly masculine scent. I kept sniffing it to see if I could come up with a description, but other than it reminding me a little of Polo (by Ralph Lauren), I couldn't think of anything. I came back here to read the description. Citrus fruits, pink grapefruit, geranium? Eeek, that doesn't sound very desirable, but don't be put off.Physically, the stick is wide and the deodorant is clear and goes on smoothly. Works well to control odor.Note that this is a deodorant and not an anti-antiperspirant. Good if you have kidney disease or are concerned about the ingredients in anti-antiperspirants, less good if you don't like damp underarms when you perspire.At $20 it's a little pricey, but overall a nice product.

This deodorant does not smell good!There are some universally pleasing scents, and this is not one of them. My girlfriend absolutely hates the smell, and made me wash it off immediately.

Smells very much like cologne. Definitely not a "sporty" or "fresh" scent. Something one might put on before going out for an evening. For me the best part about this deodorant is that it is just a deodorant and not a antiperspirant. If you are looking for a cologne like deodorant without antiperspirant stuff this could be for you. Nothing like a little "jungle juice" to attract the ladies... Honestly, I actually have no idea what I'm talking about. However, I wouldn't recommend anyone buy this online without knowing if they already like the scent. Especially when you consider this stuff costs considerably more than your typical deodorant stick you can get for a couple of bucks.

Come deodorante mi sono trovato bene anche come prezzo. Adesso che vogliono le spese di spedizione non lo acquisto più. Aspettavo che uscisse ancora per prenderne 4, adesso vado in negozio.

Ottima fragranza questa Roma di Laura Biagiotti della quale avevo già provato l'eau de toilette che mi era piaciuta moltissimo. Il deodorante stick mantiene fedelmente le caratteristiche del profumo e persiste per diverse ore. Ottimo prodotto, peraltro acquistato in offerta, che mi sento di consigliare a tutti per un ottimo acquisto.
