Q: Considering the clearly "medical" claims being made, has this product been approved by the FDA?

I don't know about the FDA situation, however, I can say that when I started using this product (the oil, the powder and the rinse together), my gums at the font of my mouth were beginning to separate from the teeth! After using this product for a month, the gums are no longer separated from the teeth.

Q: What is the difference between this product and the Mouth Detox product?

The oil massage is associated with using the SuperComfort Rescue Powder. The instructions recomend rubbing gently the Oil into the gum line followed by powder. One can leave it that way for a while or then brush gently. The Detox has a different set of ingredients added to pure, organic, cured sesame oil. Detox is used by placing a teaspoon or so of the herbalized oil in the mouth and swishing the oil about the mouth for 1-10 minutes to help detoxifiy the system. So, the Oil and Detox share some attributes and benefits but are fundamentally different.

Q: How do you use this??

The Rescue Oil comes with complete instructions for use. It can be used separately or part of the SuperComfort Complete Rescue Kit. If you shake the bottle and put a little on your fingers...then massage the gum line. You can leave in for some time if you wish. It can be followed by gently rubbing or brushing with the SuperComfort Rescue POWDER. This combo is highly effective for gum health.
