These are thick, self-stick felt pads for chair feet. I have replaced the floors in my dining room and my flooring guy reminded me to put felt pads on all furniture. While my chairs did have pads on the bottom, the pads looked hard and worn. I put these on and noticed how much more smoothly they were sliding and that the pads were slightly larger than the ones on my chairs, so they spread the load a bit better.It's not easy to get these apart, so you may need a knife or scissors to separate them. And the paper backing is also hard to scrape off, so some tweezers can help. The stickum is pretty strong and they went on well, but you have to clean off the bottoms of the chair legs to make sure the surface isn't dusty for the best adhesion.

Put them on dining room chairs then had to adjust them daily to keep them in place. Adhesive seem very aggressive but not enough to keep felt pads in place on chairs. Also they seem to wear fast in that application. Once they wear down to the adhesive the adhesive transfers to the flooring making a sticky mess. I put up with them for three weeks then went to the Teflon with screw sliders.I also placed several of these felt pads on some furniture, coffee table, lamp tables, etc. which appear to be staying in place.

Some of the pads fell off within a week. I would spend a little more on the permanent pads that you hammer into the chair.

No pad is perfect, but these are my preferred. Size is great, they stick okay but I often end up re-applying them with a hot glue gun.
