Touched By an Angel - The Third Season, Vol. 2

This is one of my favorite series. I own all of the first three seasons, and will eventually purchase the rest. Tess, Monica and Andrew are angels who help people on Earth, sometimes secretly, sometimes letting people know they are angels. There are many excellent guest stars.--------- ARE THERE ANGELS TOUCHING US? ---------I know that angels work in our lives. Sometimes, our angels are human friends or strangers that help us when we need it, without their even knowing it. Sometimes, we act as angels, perhaps by an angelic nudge in our mind, to help strangers. Let me give two examples.*** I get touched by an angelic urge ***Years ago, while I was attending a convention at a campground in NW Arkansas, I felt the sudden urge to leave my laptop in an unlocked room in an unlocked building and go to chow by a route that I had never used before, walking through the worship center and out a door that was on the farthest side of the building from where I'd been working on my computer.When I get outside and partway down an empty path between buildings, I come across a crying tot. She was lost and looking for her parents. It was so far away from where I started, I couldn't have possibly heard her. I pick her up and carry her immediately to the chow hall, where I tell people that know the parents that I found her, and that we'll be eating.I know that God or an angel touched me that day, and used me as an angel in that young girl's life.*** When someone else is Touched by an Angel to come to my aid ***In 2012, my sister asked me to proofread her book,  On Higher Ground . She mailed me the manuscript, and while I was a few pages into it, I realized that my paperback dictionary was not as good a reference as I'd hoped, so I wrote her a note asking her to order me a Collegiate dictionary.Before I could mail that letter, a friend walked up and asked me if I had a paperback dictionary. I said I did. He asked if I'd be willing to trade. He wanted a lighter dictionary that wasn't as heavy as his. I said YES, and what did he give me? Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary (Laminated Cover)  (the latest, eleventh edition).My friend had no idea that I needed that dictionary. I don't even think he knew I was proofreading Paula's book. It was about twelve hours AFTER I'd written the note to my sister.I believe than Henry was touched by an angel, because I was the first person he asked, when he decided he wanted to trade dictionaries, and he did it as an even swap.By the way, if you enjoy Touched by an Angel, I highly recommend  On Higher Ground  by Paula Hrbacek. It is the story of two guardian angels who help humans in need, without being obvious about the help that they are providing.JohnThe same John mentioned at the beginning of Paula's book.

This show is just as relevant today as it was when it aired, maybe even more. Still gets me in the feels

Even though I received this in the mail a while ago, I have just now realized that I never wrote a review for it. Anyway, I waited so long for volume two to come out and when I saw that it had, I immediately went and purchased it. As usual, it came in the mail in a prompt and timely fashion, all the discs were okay and the episodes...well the episodes were incredible. They were exactly as I remember them when I first saw them on CBS many years ago.The show still manages to bring tears to my eyes as I watch each episode, even though I have seen these episodes several times before, whether they were on PAX or CBS. I miss the show very much and I truly hope that the rest of the series will eventually come out on DVD. In all honesty, I don't care if it is split up into volumes (okay I care, but you know what I mean). All I want is to be able to watch my favorite show when I have the chance and not have to worry about setting the VCR to record it.All in all, this is a great buy for anyone who has seen the show and loved it.

The series arrived as expected and was firmly packaged. All the disks were working and none of them were scratched. Touched by an Angel is a series that will make you laugh, cry and dream about angels. It is a series that you can sit down and watch with your entire family, including the children. The main message of the series is, "God loves you." It doesn't attempt to convert anyone into any religion. It is a wholesome family series involving three angels, who enter a person's life and tries to steer them on a good path while reminding them that God loves them.

Absolutely Nothing

I am a relatively new viewer to the "Touched by an Angel" series. I never had the opportunity to watch this show while it aired so am just now realizing the impact it had. Even in the first season, though sometimes melodramatic, I could tell this was an extrodinary journey in the making. Now, by Season Three: volume one I can't wait for another season to come out. With the addition of John Dye in season two the show has found its rythmn and is headed in wonderful directions. I echo the other reviews in hoping CBS will take note and begin to release these amazing seasons in a more timely fashion. I'm sure Season Three: volume two will continue to surprise and amaze me. If you even have a hint of the greatness of this show, I suggest you buy it: you will not be disappointed.

We started from the beginning and buy more discs as we go.Third season volume two the writing deepens..In season three, more humans are being encouraged to be compassionate, so humans in need have less dependence on Angels (non-humans) to solve their problems. I guess the message is that humans can be angels for each other too, and not just pray for miracles.Still get tears every episode..

I have had to give this dvd a poor rating simply because it will not play on my player. I was very disappointed, now I have t send it back. So if you are thinking of sending for it beware it might not be compatible with your player.

simply great and heartwarming series of stories which have a moralistic vein without preaching. if you havn't watched these programmes [ being repeated on cbs at time of writing this ] please find the time to do so and you will be hooked

Wanted to keep series

Our whole family love Touched by an Angel, very inspiring I would recommend this season to everyone. We never get tired of watching this series, or any of the others. I would definitely recommend to all my friends.

what can i say i think its great but have too admit since losing my girl 2yrs ago i get tearful watching this
