42mm 1.65'' Festoon LED C5W Bulbs 30-SMD 3014 LED White Replacement Bulb With Aluminium Sink for Car Interior Dome Light License Plate Trunk Light DC 12V 42mm Pack of 4

Bulbs were a simple swap but my 2007 Audi A6 Avant threw up an error code of blown bulbs, caused by the very low current drain these use to power up. Nipped to Halfords and spent £5 on a packet of 2 LED resistors that literally just plug in to these, and error cleared immediately. So, a tenner for LED sidelights that match my HID upgrade perfectly, and because there were 10 in the pack, I also swapped all my interior bulbs to these as well and its glorious inside and feels like a new car. Very happy, but just be aware that not all cars will be error free on the dash, but the Halfords resistors are so cheap you should just whack them on at the same time.

These bulbs were a very simple 'plug & play' upgrade from the existing yellowy/orange halogen bulbs in my BMW X5. I didn't take a 'before' photo but I'm sure you can see the light in the 'after' photo is clean & crisp & - after replacing the other door & footwell bulbs - lights the whole car much more attractively & brightly.

There is a serious production fault with these bulbs, my car is not CANBUS equipped (thankfully), so it's not a compatability issue.Fine to begin with (although the light isn't well diffused and is brighter viewed from some angles than others), then they began flickering. Had 4 bulbs from the packet suffer this fault.Amazon were great and issued me with a refund, and I stumped up the extra to buy branded (Osram) wedge bulbs that have been reliable - and give a more consistent light.

I'm updating this review after recently having to replace BOTH side lights on my car which has been in our garage since the last one failed recently just a month or two before. I mention my car was in our garage so it was out of the extreme cold and snow. They all had the same symptoms of started to flicker wildly like cheap nasty Christmas tree lights, eventually dying completely. I was forced to have them replaced immediately by the mechanic (meaning expensive) or fail the MOT. Do NOT waste your money on these. I would give zero stars if I could.

Great brightness from such a small LCD. These light bulbs are getting smaller but brighter. They fit straight in the same place as a standard bulb but do be careful as some of these lcd bulbs can cause a problem so always check with the seller first to make sure you dont have to change the fuse or do anything else as some can blow your fuses or stop other lights from working. I was lucky I did not check I just put them in without really thinking about anything but I was lucky they fitted my Renault Scenic side lights and gave a real good brightness without any problems .like I said please check with seller first as they can tell you if these are ok for your car. If you dont and do damage you cant go crying to the seller or Amazon because you didn't check.

I bought this item as a gift with another item recently. This item was meant to replace the person car dashboard lights. Previously they had a blue light, which allowed looked nice but wasn't bright when turned on. This item solved the problem. It's super bright, even 1 LED light filled the car with enough light then it used too. Recommended for anyone looking for dashboard lights.

Great product only one problem when fitting the bulbs in the holder you will need to compress the contact tags where they loop over the contact tabs on the bottom of the bulbs. Take a pair of long nosed pliers and pinch the contact tabs more so that the bend on is smaller and you will find they will fit great if you dont do this you will not be able to insert the bulbs in the housing as the tags will be too wide .I thank you.

These seem to be well made quality bulbs with a good brightness. can be a bit of a tight fir in some fitments, but you can work them in - only issue so far on one of our cars is that the Fiat punto light failure warning indicator seems to come on even though we have replaced both sidelights - so there must be an issue with recognising the voltage load maybe?
