With its 190 gram weight and compact size, the mecablitz M360 is not only lightweight, but is also easy to use, making it perfect for beginners. It hardly needs any space in the camera bag, it is instantly plugged into the camera - and you can use the flash straight away. Only two buttons are necessary to control it: The power button turns the flash on and off; the second button displays the various operating states of the M360 (flash ready, exposure OK, standby etc.) and triggers a test flash. The camera determines the correct illumination of the subject via TTL, whereby the maximum guide number 36 at ISO 100 provides enough power for almost all lighting situations. Thanks to its compact format, the mecablitz M360 is ideal for mirrorless compact cameras, but also DSLR users will appreciate the self-explanatory operating concept.A flexible companionThe mecablitz M360 offers many additional features that a photographer needs for various lighting situations: The power zoom (24 - 105 mm), the fully swivelling reflector with extendable reflector card and the integrated wide angle diffuser (14 mm) enable flashes on the ceiling, eye-reflexes in flash portraits and the illumination of groups of people. The plug-on diffuser supplied can be used as a soft focus by the photographer.Useful featuresThe mecablitz M360 can synchronise to the first or second shutter curtain if the camera supports this feature. Beats Canon flashes because it's smaller and less in weight but strong!
This is much better than Canon's flashes in that, on my T5, my Speedlite 580EX is so damn heavy that I'm ready to throw it away now that I have this M360! It is much smaller and weighs a lot less due to it needing only two AA batteries to operate. It didn't work at first because my hot shoe needed cleaned, so I cleaned it by rubbing it with a pencil eraser (which I first rubbed on a piece of sandpaper to rid the eraser tip of pencil lead buildup) and then it worked fine. The M360 is a very sophisticated flash with its TTL operation despite not having any controls. I have been using only Metz flashes for 25 years and love them!!!! (I stupidly bought the Canon flash years ago and I don't know why!) The attached photo taken with it and my T5 is of a framed painting in lithograph style hanging in our house that a friend wanted to see via email, so I sent it to him.

works accurately
I needed a small flash to use on a sony a7. I had the godox tt350 mini for less than a year and it died . i tried to get support but no number for the US. I've used metz in the past without any issues, so I took a chance despite limited reviews. initial test show accurate exposure and even light. It seems to work flawlessly with the camera electronics.I have to say I am quite impressed with the simplicity of the unit. no digital screen so battery life should last longer. In my opinion this would be a perfect flash for the A 6000 series cameras small, powerful , and simple just two buttons ,on/off and test button.

Exactly what I was looking for!
It has good build quality, excellent performance, and for what I do (which is mostly portrait and candids) it's perfect. FYI, it doesn't have a metal hot shoe mount as pictured. I love the compact form. I tried a similarly priced Godox but wasn't happy with the build quality (nothing against Godox, I actually have their SL60 video light). Overall, great purchase!
