I've had 2 of these in the past 5 years. The first one broke from rough baggage handling on a plane and my current one is still going strong. I have super thick nails that grow really fast and I hate the feeling of nail clippers and they never cut evenly so I mostly only file them. Because my nails are so strong I usually can only get one or two uses out of normal nail file, this one NEVER wares down, it's so much less waste full. I'll never go back to paper files, which I'll never have to since the glass one, again, never wares down.

As a massage therapist nails are key, this is the perfect file for me. Less cuticle problems, keeps nails short and tidy. Perfect for massage. And so pretty too. Other reviews-are correct though- case pretty- doesn’t stay closed and file can slip out. Redesign case to stay shut, I put some clay around the edge so it sticks a bit and stays closed better. I want to buy a whole set and have a file everywhere, by my bed, in my car, purse, massage bag, etc. wonderful file!

This nail file lasted me 7 solid years of use and abuse until I finally accidentally broke it this morning. It has gone on camping trips and traveled the world with me. Feels like losing an old friend. Immediately came to buy another one, just hope the quality hasn't changed after all these years!Don't bother looking elsewhere, this is the glass file you're looking for. I've been so happy with the experience of filing my nails since switching to glass, I get a much smoother and quicker file than a traditional nail file. Just get it. 10/10

I bought 2 of these, red for me and turquoise for my daughter over 4 years ago! I love the fact that the file is easy on your nails but still easily removes excess nail on your fingers and your toes. Tough nails are no problem for this little gem.The file itself is made out of glass, but the matching case is made out of plastic. The bottom half of the case has held up fine in my bedside table drawer, but I dropped the top half years ago and the cats were kind enough to hide it from me. Otherwise I'd report on the whole case.Because the file "grit" is so fine, I even like to use it to file down dead cuticle before it becomes a hangnail. It smooths the hard skin on the sides of the nails as well. I can't keep polish on my fingernails for more than a few days, so I usually just finish my mani-pedi with my favorite lotion to help add moisture to the nails and my thirsty skin. I find it makes my nails stronger and they don't break as often.The only "con" that my daughter and I agreed on was the thickness of the file itself. I've dropped mine countless times on the hardwood floor and never had it chip or break. It's thin in appearance but the tip of the nail is not sharp enough to get the layer of dirt under the nail, right next to the nail bed. That's why I only gave it 4 stars, but it's not stopping me enough from buying another one because my tough nails have finally worn the file down.When ordering my replacement I found out they also have a cuticle pusher, which I just ordered several of for my daughter and myself, and a really nice nail grooming kit that includes a glass file for smoothing and removing the calluses from your feet, and other nail care items, that I purchased as a gift for my son, who has size 15 feet and needs extra help to keep his feet comfortable. All within the same brand! Visit the store to see other available items and colors.If I had a chance to change anything, it would be matching sets of nail files and cuticle pushers. I'd definitely buy several, for the bedroom, purse, car, work, etc. They make excellent gifts for the people you care about!

This is the classiest nail file I've ever seen. It is made out of the best glass and the royal blue case is stunning. I haven't used it yet so I cannot give an honest review on it's effectiveness. But I'm more than sure filing won't disappoint. No more emery boards or metal nail files for me. Get your classy glass nail file today.

I've spent too much money looking for the right memory boards the right metal file. What a waste of time and money. I have been so frustrated trying to get a smooth manicure and I have finally found it with this nail file. Don't waste anymore of your money, just buy it!

I’m 68 years old and have just discovered the Czech glass nail files. They are the best nail files I have ever used because they are gentle on my nails, accurate, and file quickly. I will be discarding many of my other filing tools. I will be buying some for my daughters. I definitely recommend keeping them in the case because I did drop mine once but the case protected it. I don’t know yet about longevity yet but right now I’m very happy with this product.

Nail file is good, does the job quick and leaves nails smooth. The case is a cheap, ugly plastic.

I bought this to replace my Revlon glass file and so far I like it a lot better. My previous file broke after a couple uses and the reviews were all pretty consistent in saying that. This one hasn't broken on me and it feels great in my hand. I also find that the case, though fairly cheaply made, is a nice perk to protect it and for travel.

Pretty and compact nail file with a carrying case you can throw in your purse and you’ll never be without a file! It works well and doesn’t take up much space.
