I purchased - HAIRART I Tech Keratin Heat 1 inch Flat Iron Dual Voltage on 10/16/2012. online from another location. My experience was very disappointing. The product worked a couple of times in the US, but then I traveled abroad and it never worked on 220V. Upon my return it did not work in the US either. I specially purchased this product because of the Dual Voltage function it offer. It has manufactures warranty 12 months. I called the company's customer service yesterday and was told that since it was over 30 days since purchase, I would have to call the manufacturers office for warranty claim. The customer service rep (Erica)at Hairproduct.com was least helpful. She was rude, unfriendly and indifferent. I had to call her three times to get simple answers. In short - I had a very disappointing experience. This is what one has to do to resolve my issue. At the discretion of manufacturer, the item would be repaired or replaced, however I would pay to ship the item plus send a payment of $14.99 for return shipping and handling (a total$30 expense on my part). So in order to repair the item worth $89.99, I pay another $30, and then what is the guarantee that the product will work or last. I decided to put the product in the trash can.
