Never used a pressure cooker before, PLEASED!
I have owned the Ninja Foodi for awhile. I limited its use to french fries and heating up take out food. This kitchen gadget offers so much more. I find the recipes to be quick and easy. There was a learning curve on how to use the different components of the Foodi but once learned it makes delicious meals. The pressure cooker used to quickly cook and tenderize meats is a treasure for those on the run. You follow up with crisping in the air fryer or roasting. I tried the chicken wings on game night and was happy to find restaurant grade wings at half the cost and less calories. Whenever in a hurry, look at this book for guidance. Makes a great gift idea for buying a Foodi and this cookbook together. Be adventurous!

Really good ninja cookbook.
This is a really good ninja foodie cookbook. The recipes are easy. I made some raspberry jam but improvised with adding frozen strawberries and blueberries. My only drawback was I couldn’t get my sauté/sear to work which was really disappointing, so I just put in on the stove on high and cooked it for 6 minutes. Next I will try the pork chops with apples. This is one of the easiest cookbooks I have come across. Highly recommended.

Great book for the money, nice selecton of recipes.
I opted to purchase this as an e-book to save space, and so I could use electronically. I missed my pressure cooker, but am new to the Foodi. This is a great addition to my cookbook collection, and it gave me an idea of how to use this multi cooker. It has a nice selections of recipes - except for the ShrimpNGrits and the southwestern style recipes. Those were offensive! lololI do understand the complaints from some, because it isn't really intuitive for a newbie cook, or the cook not wanting to reference other recipes to insert cook times and replace 'set to 0'; preferring the 'one pot' walk away recipe, with all instructions included. This was probably done to save time, space, and money for publishing. This isn't uncommon in cookbooks. So for that sense, this isn't for someone looking for that "one pot" walk away. You do need to have some knowledge for certain things in regards to pressuring cooking, baking, etc. However, the recipes are basic, inexpensive, fairly quick to make, and most would have the ingredients in their pantry. Very rarely do I always have the ingredients when cooking/trying a new recipe. Cooking new recipes does take some planning and shopping. In that sense, this is still great for the newbie or novice cook, but might not be intuitive. I would say this is great for the intermediate, or in addition to a true 'one pot' cookbook.Overall, I'm please with my purchase! (Leah the spouse, not Chris)Edit: One of the great things about this cookbook, I was able to find a recipe and timing for making my own corn chips. Of course, the photo shows them with an additional tiered wire accessory. I dropped the heat to 350, and bumped the time to 12 minutes for fresh tortillas. Turned out perfect for us! However, I would start with 10 minutes and adjust from there.

Great Recipe Ideas
Great recipe ideas. My only complaint might be that there is not a listing of the recipes in the front of the book, only categories. It does however have an index in the back.

works as advertised.
This cookbook ends my search for a cookbook for foodi.

I tried to like it
I tried hard to like this cookbook. I really did. I've seen Justin on Food Network, and he's a good guy. He was also kind enough to answer a question over Instagram - just like he offered in the book. The book is gorgeous and recipes inspiring. There are lovely photos all the way through and I couldn't wait to start trying them. But the problem is that the recipes aren't working for me. It's possible that I'm incredibly unlucky and just picked the wrong ones, but now I'm afraid to keep trying. I'll be specific, in case they decide to retest the recipes and release an updated version.1. Giant Japanese Pancake: I got brave and decided to try another recipe tonight. The batter was super thick (yes, I know how to measure flour) and I got the WATER error on my Foodi (I have the 6.5 qt). I kept adding more water to the top, but it wouldn't cook anymore. The pan was hot, so I decided to just finish with the air crisping portion of the recipe. I kept it warm in the oven for 30 minutes while I made a frittata, but it was still gooey when I served it, probably because of the water I added. It tasted good, but I'm not sure how to fix the recipe so I don't get the error. Thinner batter? Pot in pot method?2. Ultimate Foodi Chicken Wings: Sadly, this was one of the first recipes I tried in my Foodi, so I didn't know better. It calls for pressure cooking 6 whole wings for 2 minutes, followed by air crisping for 40 minutes. There was no weight given for the wings, and he must have used giant wings. I used regular grocery store wings and they turned out like the turkey in the Christmas Vacation movie. After that, I googled it and found that most air fryer recipes call for 20-25 minutes cooking time. Justin needs to add weight to this recipe.3. Glazed Cinnamon Apple Cake Doughnuts: This was the recipe I had to DM Justin about so I could buy the right size silicone molds. There was no way of knowing if they were mini or regular size (they're mini, in case you're wondering).4. Fried Rice: Tasted pretty good but needed a little more time to fully cook the rice.I think there was one more but I can't figure out which one. I want to keep trying recipes because they sound so appealing, but I'm definitely nervous after these first few. I have another pressure cooker cookbook that has never had a failure or ambiguous recipe, so I know it's not me. If I eventually have more success with this book, I'll come back and amend my rating.

Great for everything you cook, even bake
After buying and start using the Ultimate Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker , I realized that every other cooker ( sliw, pressure, fryer, grill, bake, etc) is replaced by this magic one. And wit the Cookbook: 125 Recipes to Air Fry, Pressure Cook, Slow Cook, Dehydrate, and Broil for the Multicooker gave me great ideas to use the cooker more effectivly for more delicious food.

Handig,goede kwaliteit

Yum!
Sat and had a read through this cookbook and, although it is American, the ingredients are easily obtainable / swappable and the recipes are easy to follow. I like the fact that it was written by someone who actually just used the Foodi without any intervention of any other kitchen appliance - definitely someone who is dedicated to the cause! It's for the 6l version of the Foodi, but adaptable to the compact one.Just a sidebar - I originally bought the Ninja Foodi Mini, but I'd really recommend going for the 6l - 9 function version (or bigger) as it is not much bigger kitchen surface wise, but slightly taller, which means the heat isn't so intense / compact and gives a better cook. Really like both Foodis and all the functions you get in one pot - I rarely use the full oven now as the Foodis can do it all and it's easy peasy!

Good book but not metric
Recipes are good but no metric conversion makes them harder to use
