Used this a few times already. Cut the crap out of my hand. I’d recommend wearing gloves and being very careful. The cutter works well, just use a bit of precaution.

This pipe cutter is worth every penny. To be clear this tool is not meant for trade usage it is meant for a DIY homeowner. I had an awning frame that bent due to an early snowfall. I used this tool to cut 1 inch galvanized steel pipes. I made a least 10 cuts with this tool, and could make more if needed, and that's without changing to the second blade which comes with this tool. Here is a tip tighten the tool lightly onto the pipe with the open side of the tool facing you and start turning it forward away from you , this will prevent spiraling, turn it two or three times then tighten it lightly, repeat this process DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN in about 2 min the pipe will be cut.

The unit would buckle and fall off due to the body being weak and unable to take the torque of turning it. The other item I found was the cutting disk was very small so it wouldn't penetrate the pipe all the way through.

I bought this tubing cutter and reamer kit to cut down and dull a brand new handlebar for my mountain bike. It went flawlessly and had them cut down in less than 5 minutes.

1 3/8" and 1 5/8" pipe rubs edges of cutting tool. Pipe should only touch rollers and cutting disc.

This is a very well made tool. It cut through stainless steel pipe like butter. I am very satisfied.
