Organic deliciousness
Used this to make amazing soup from Terry Hope Romero's Viva Vegan cookbook. It's the one with the Lima beans and quinoa. Fantastic! Am planning to grow my own peppers this summer to save big $ over buying jarred organic, but love this product for the introduction to Aji Panca.

Thrilled with this Panca paste!
I was thrilled to find the Panca Chili paste available on Amazon. I wanted to make a recipe that my husband's Peruvian aunt used to make for him, but where was I going to find Panca chilis in Kentucky? Amazon to the rescue. The paste arrived within 3 days, and it worked perfectly in the recipe. To our tastebuds it is medium-hot with a slightly sweet taste. Very happy with the purchase and the product!

Damaged product
I received this product on really bad condition, it was dirty all over the outside and seemed to have been opened, this product can not be returned, waste of money.

Disappointing!
Although the taste is very good,this is more like a sauce (runny) than a paste which should be thick. I feel this item is way overpriced for the thin consistency!

I decided to make Peruvian dishes for the month of May, and Zócalo Peru Organic Aji Panca Paste was essential for many recipes.

I need to order more. Does this come in fifty gal drums? This makes wonderful sauces when mixed with other condiments or straight from the bottle as a sandwich spread. Wonderful smoky umami flavor with hints of heat throughout the flavor profile.

Not as described
I purchased this product thinking it was not spicy at all When I received the product I saw the label is not the same as the one portrayed in the picture and the one I got states that it has a "touch of heat" as you can see on the picture I took.
