Works great
This product works great in my 07 X5 . However if the text doesn’t show up , use iTunes instead. Spotify wouldn’t show text when I used this, but when I switched to iTunes it works correct. I’m assuming it’s bc the iTunes and Spotify are coded different. Idk about pandora and other music apps. Just Spotify and iTunes when using this.

Doesn't last long, overpriced today.
I purchased this product in 2017. I was very pleased with it, Worked as advertised and provided the solution I was looking for.My only gripe back then was that I felt the sound was a bit over-amplified, so there was a tendency for distortion. However, a couple of years later, I started having problems with the 3.5mm cable. It was breaking connection in certain positions, so I would have to fiddle with it until the sound was okay. It's annoying that this happened because I never touch the adapter. I have no reason to, so it just sits there, meaning the cable hardly ever moves.Today, I found a BMW Y-cable BT adapter, which does the same thing, from a a China seller, for under $10, with a much better sound than this one from Bovee. Here in Amazon, it looks just like the one branded Yoper (I'm sure it's manufactured generically and suppliers simply slap their brand name on it).To be fair though, this product has served me well.

A must have for any BMW Owner without A2DP streaming but with the USB/Aux in option
I love this thing. I have a 2007 E92 335i. All 335's get the Logic 7 sound system and mine is optioned with the USB/Aux input, iDrive nav and Bluetooth. Unfortunately, BMW was very late to the A2DP streaming game, so Bluetooth in the car is for phone calls only. This unit is basically a WMA1000 with the Y-cable already built in. I just purchased this car and it didn't come with a Y-cable, so this was the better choice, as a WMA1000 + Y-cable would cost more than this unit. I am using this with my iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8.1.Installation of this item couldn't be easier. Simply lift the center console lid and plug it into the USB and AUX jacks. At that point, go to your phone and pair it, using code 0000 during the pairing process. Set your audio input in the car to USB and you are all set.Track forward and backward work via the steering wheel or tract select on the dash control. Pause/play is weird, but due to BMW and not this product. To pause/play, you have to hit the mute button. Not a smart setup but it works.Sound quality is very good. The unit connects almost immediately (as the car wakes up as soon as I enter it). Once paired, it automatically starts playing the last audio that was used (be it iPod, Pandora, Sirius Streaming, etc). I have only had it a couple days but have taken a lot of short trips during that time - this unit has paired 100% every time.I do not get album art on my CCC iDrive setup with this. I do get artist/track info, though BMW has a fairly poor implementation of this display. I am guessing those with the newer CIC or NBT systems get better info displayed in a better way.My phone has no issues syncing to both the Tune2Air and the factory Bluetooth at the same time. When I get a call, the current audio pauses and the call picks right up. Nav also intervenes without issue as well. This honestly works so well you would almost think it is OEM.Cons:- A bit pricey for what it is.- USB/Aux cables need to be longer, which would make it easier for me to stuff it away under my center console (under where the rubber matt sits in there, as there is space). I still can but will need to cut a piece of plastic to do so or I may buy a 1' extension cable.Update 3/2/15:A couple weeks ago, I started have an issue with the unit. My iPhone 6 Plus would connect just fine, but no other functions would work (pause, fast forward, rewind or track info on the iDrive). I tried resetting all settings on the phone, booting in safe mode, deleting all Bluetooth connections, etc. but nothing fixed this issue. Funny thing is my 6 Plus has no issue with these controls on other Bluetooth devices. I hooked my work phone up to the Tune2Air (standard iPhone 6) and it worked fine. I submitted an inquiry on VisseO's poorly done website, so I'll update with the results once I know more.Edit: 2/16/20. So my past Bluetooth issues ended up being iPhone related (both the iPhone mentioned, the new one Apples replaced it with AND my wife's iPhone). We ended up having other iPhone issues as well and by early 2016, we upgraded away from Apple to Android devices. Never had a Bluetooth streaming issue again and we don't miss the Apple stuff at all.Now on to the unit itself. Works fine. It looks like what they are selling now is under a different manufacturer and looks similar. I just recently stopped using it as I upgraded to an Android 9.0 Snapdragon CCC replacement unit, which has Bluetooth built-in (though I just hotspot my phone and use the apps directly on the unit, maintaining the OEM bluetooth for calls). A huge improvement but also a much more expensive option than this and far more work to install.

Works for my BMW X1 base model - like a charm
When I returned my previous car that had tech package and decided to move on to a base model X1 (2015 E84), I thought I won't miss too much of the bluetooth audio I enjoyed with it. I was wrong. Here's what I've gone through:1) I tried an audio cable with a separate USB chargingGood: simple and cheapBad: need to plug two cables - the usb being optional, resulting in messy state at best. No control works except the volume. Need to touch the phone while driving.2) $20 hight quality bluetooth adapterGood: relatively good sound quality. It is possible to keep my phone in the pocket once the bluetooth connectsBad: these come with rechargeable battery. Hard to lose bluetooth connection when you're home. When finally lose, and get back to the car, it connects bluetooth first then at starting the car, the car's phone bluetooth takes it over. Then you need to take the phone out of your pocket and reconnect it. Then it allows your phone to connect to both bluetooth (car phone, and the 3rd party audio) devices simultaneously.3) 30-pin to lightning converterGood: simple one plug charging and audio. Stable. Get the song data displayed and full control of music on the audio buttons and the ones on the steering wheel.Bad: when get in the car, the audio flips over to Radio and it's LOUD (since iPod gain is relatively low). Can't keep the phone in the pocket.4) Now this ViseeO Tune2Air WMA3000BGood: solves all the problem above and sound quality is excellent - need to have two step down from the full volume on my iPhone 6 though. Data displays excellently and all control works as if I am using my phone through the cable.Bad: like someone pointed out already, BMW professional audio tends to be finicky in keeping the last source as iPod. ViseeO Tune2Air connects to the phone a bit slow at times and then start emulating as an iPod a bit late. Then audio system loses 'iPod' as the last source and defaults back to Radio. I only had this problem occasionally and most of the time it quickly connects to the phone and resumes the music or Audible readings from where I left off.Overall, I'm returning my 30-pin to lightening converter back to BestBuy store. I tucked this unit under one of the compartment using 3M mounting tape - and it's almost invisible. A very close-to-manufacturer audio bluetooth option. I never thought there's remaining blue ocean in the bluetooth audio application area - I guess ViseeO found it and excellently conquered it.----UPDATE 3/28/2016I'm downgrading 1 star because of a couple of annoying issues:1) Sometimes the title does not update and navigation buttons on the steering wheel does not work2) I couldn't figure out how to load my playlists3) The sound glitches when the phone is paired with Pebble watches - it works fine when Apple Watch is connected. This is not Pebble's fault because all the other bluetooth audio/headphones flawlessly work with Pebble connectedEventually moved to CarPro CoolStream.

Great bit of kit but !!!
Very easy to set up, crystal clear sound with no hum or hiss, my only niggle is when my son disconnects his iPhone, when I connect my jt cuts in and out, you have to stop the car turn off the ignition, unplug it. Re plug, re start the phone re connect to the phone, it all works perfectly again, for the price it should swop between music sources flawlessly that’s why I have deducted 1 star.

Does what it says on the tin
Extremely easy to set up within a couple of minutes. I have an older car with older BMW software so can't take full advantage of all the features but it integrates seamlessley via external device port and displays track information on the iDrive screen. Handy tip: Make sure the colume is all the way up on your chosen device and use the car's sound control. It's a little pricey for what it achieves but the ease of installation and use makes up for this. Top tip 2: ensure you have at least one track on your device to allow the car to initiate the external audio finctionality. This may already be achieved on newer cars.

Works in Mini with Galaxy S8 and can skip tracks using buttons on steering wheel
Ok so i did a lot of research on this and found it difficult to determine whether this would allow the desired OEM functionality for android. I know it works beter with apple devices allowing browsing of tracks etc but considering almost everyone now streams music using apps like spotify all I wanted was to have bluetooth music streaming in the Mini (R56 model with USB abd AUX port in the console below the heating controls. I wanted it to allow the track skipping from the steering wheel as well as the volume adjustment. This means that when using the phone as Sat Nav i didnt need to keep going in to spotify and back to skip tracks.THere are cheaper kits and cables out there but this achieves everything I wanted out of the box and works flawlessly. Bluetooth adaptor
Good product, I was not sure this would work, but I am very pleased with the results. I used this on my Bmw Mini, and works like a dream with my iPad, sound is clear, and sharp, and you can see all the track information in your car's display. When being used with my galaxy S8,the sound is very bassy and you don't get to see the track display, basically just being used as a streamer. Overall i would say I'm happy with this product, as it is a very cheap way of installing Bluetooth.

I should really give this 5 stars....
Upon receipt of this device, I owned a Google Pixel 1. And it worked like a charm. Never randomly disconnected and could make and receive calls without any issues! However, I now own a Pixel 2. And the partnership isn't working too well.* The phone will often randomly disconnect from the device.* And I'm unable to make and receive calls via this BT device.Just to confirm. This Tune2Air worked perfectly when connected to my Pixel 1.The issues I've experienced. Or now doubt caused by my phone and not the Tune2Air device. I would love to know whether anyone else has experienced similar issues. For anyone thinking about buying this device. I would strongly suggest you find out whether your phone is fully compatible before buying.
