Q: Does it adjust for a pickleball court?

As long as there's a fence, the answer is yes. The bracket is adjustable for any court, pickleball or otherwise. Here's a link to the view: https://youtu.be/XXgYkUyYl3c Once you get it set up the way you like it, just make a mark on the bracket and set it to that whenever you play on a similiar court. That way the set up is really quick - literally under a minute easy. If there is a cable behind the court, that would work too.

Q: I see someone tried it with Sony Action Camera. Did you need to buy a different mount? What type of mount is required for Sony Action Cam?

Just the QM-1. Nothing else required. Doesnt need any adapters.

Shouldn't need anything if the Yi has a receptical to receive a 1/4 x 20 tripod screw. 99% of all cameras have this receptacle.

Q: How wide are the "jaws" that go over the fence? And is the width adjustable?

a little over 2", just right for 99% of fences out there. Will also fit snugly over a curtain's cable by using the pole side of the aluminum leg. It is not particularly adjustable, but will work in many places despite that.
