Maun brand cutters = quality kit
Top build quality and functionality for a reasonable price. Do a much better job and last way longer than any of the cheaper brand alternatives. If you are using them often and want them to last then, without doubt, worth the money.Great for cutting rigid wire, cable ties etc. (Not suitable for catenary wire cable which requires specialist cutters.) These cutters are compact and lightweight and I'd also recommend the Maun brand parallel action pliers with side cutters as similar in quality and functionality as a heavier duty option.

Will they last as long as my previous pair.
I love these wire cutters. I had a pair for well over 20 years and they were great. Easy to use, reliable and effortless. When my old pair broke (i suspect to to the general abuse I gave them) I had to get another pair. The new pair look and feel the same high quality as my old pair and function the same but for a full review you'll have to wait at least another ten years!

Best cutters on the planet
Solidly made - Cut through everything.I've cut through 3" nails with these - Grip nail at base of blades, lay cutter head on steel block, use hammer to beat jaws together - Not a dent on the cutting edge.General use though they go through everything with a squeeze.Only bought new ones because I lost the ones I'd had for over 20 years

The only cutters I’d ever buy.
Had a number of Maun products over the year and they’ve never disappointed. Only bought these because I’d worn the others out after 20+ years use.

Great quality but the ends don't meet.
Much like another reviewer I have found that the blades do not meet except for at the very end. However unlike the other buyer I do not already have a diamond sharpener so will have to buy one because of this I have deducted 2 stars as I need to buy another product to make the first one work. Not ok for an expensive tool, you shouldn't have to machine it before use.

The best torque on small cutters anywhere.
There's one thing that only Maun cutters can do where others fail. The grip is exceptional. Any cutters can cut. But not with the torque of the Maun cams.The other job that these stand out above all others - removing woodruff keys.I've got other cutters that I love equally, but they just can't do some things like the Maun.
