Long, boring story here, bottom line is that my right shoulder is screwed up from decades of sports, two rotator cuff surgeries and another partial rotator cuff tear AFTER the second surgery. I refuse to take oral opioids or NSAIDs for pain and use ice and heat for pain relief and my issues cannot be surgically resolved again. I had a cortisone shot but it didn't do squat and those are short term fixes even when they do work. I have a post surgical polar ice cuff when I'm really sore but could never find a shoulder heating cuff that worked well - until now. Pro - -Easy to use, 3 heat modes, gets really warm -Compact size, stores well, concentrates heat where I need it most Con - -Seems to turn itself down after about 5 or 10 minutes, I'm always turning it back to "red" mode Overall, this is a nice heating cuff that has helped alleviate my nearly constant shoulder pain. I'll see how it holds up over the long term.

The product arrived in a plastic bag, no box, one tiny instruction paper that was almost too small to read. No instructions on how to attach straps etc. The product came on and I tried it on the lowest heat settings first, low and medium did not warm up at all, high setting got slightly warm but only in a small area near the plug. This is item is worthless unless your pain is directly below that small one inch area to the right of the plug. And even then it does not get hot enough to do anything. The brace itself seemed sturdy and decently made, but for heating it's really bad. I'm not sure if mine was defective or just poor quality. I had to send it back.

While it does work, the instructions are typical cr@p, with no help or even links to a website.

This is a well made and helped with heating my shoulder. The wrap works well on either side of your shoulder and the addition of heat gives you a good way to relax when your shoulder hurts.Cause I fell on,my shoulder was killing me and this got me through the nights. The wrap help me a lot and this has helped after doing work outside.

Well, as they say, "you get what you pay for". It really heats up 'a lot' and fast. I wouldn't fall asleep with this on, even on low. I found I needed to shut it off completely and wait a bit to maintain a comfortable temperature. It was around $15 less than the next similar and I'm finding 'work-arounds' so it works for me. Maybe if I put a dry facecloth between my shoulder and the heater...

I have loose joints. I have worn knee braces for years. My shoulder started slipping out of its socket so I bought this. I have slept better and feel everything is in place in my shoulder. I have not had a spasm in my neck since. As the add says it will give my shoulder a chance to heal. Another week will tell the tale . But I am much more comfortable in the mean time. The unit worked exceptionally well the first day that I used it. On day 2, the rubber odor began, but I assumed it was "normal break-in". By day 4, the product wouldn't even turn on. Obviously the unit fried itself while attached to my shoulder and this is surely a fire hazard and I believe that the product should be removed from the market. The idea of a shoulder heating pad is excellent...however I would prefer one that works and works safely with no odor. I guess the old saying "You get what you pay for" would apply here. Of course Amazon took the product back and provided a full refund.

I wanted to like this product - I NEEDED to like this product, but even with a torn shoulder ligament that needs heat after the ice - I stopped even trying to use it after the 3rd attempt. With its crisscrossing maze of straps it's hard enough to just to figure out how to put it on. But the worst is the hard plastic insert inside the fabric (label?) that jams into your underarm and makes wearing it almost worse then the pain you're trying to reduce. It gets warm but not hot enough to really do any good. Sorry, but this one just didn't work for me.
