Vijiv Women 1920s Gastby Sequin Art Nouveau Embellished Fringed Flapper Dress

Bought this for a Great Gatsby charity event and ordered a large. I'm a curvy 14 and it fit perfectly. The amount of detail was better than I expected. The only downside was the dress itself was on the short side (and I'm only 5ft 4in), luckily the tassels were long enough cover my legs but I had to wear a pair of black shorts underneath just in case. Still loved it though and got plenty of compliments.

I was hesitant to order online without knowing the quality and with so many sellers with similar dresses. I am so glad I purchased from vijiv as this 1920s dress is great quality and fitted perfectly. I am 5.6 tall and in be tween 10 and 12 and the medium is perfect and below the knee great length not short at all. Delivery was very prompt. The dress is not flimsy a nice weight and is lined. Perfect. I won first prize for best dressed outfit at a recent 1920s themed party . very pleased over all.

I ordered a size 4-6 and it's much more like an 8-10. It's particularly loose round the chest but it might be okay for a more busty person, as the hip area nearly fitted. Other than size it's a beautiful dress, loved the tassels, and it's got great detail for the price. No loose sequins or anything, would be great for a 1920s party!

Fabulous dress, can’t praise it enough for it’s stunning appearance. Sadly, although the fit was perfect the length is far too short for me and I’m 5ft 3in. If you don’t mind your legs on show, order this one - it’s stunning. Shame I couldn’t return it.

This is a beautiful dress and perfect for my Silver Wedding party. The beading and sequins are gorgeous! Perfect fit, I am a size 14 and it is just right. Highly recommended.

Four stars only because of the size.I ordered this dress based on so many reviews on the US site. It is actually fantastic quality for what you’re paying for. High quality beading and sequin work - really. It’s a heavy dress, what you’d expect for this type. However, what I got wrong is the size. If only to help other women buy the correct size: I am 5 foot 7 1/2 inches, 130 pounds and an A/B cup (after kids), slender build and small shoulders. I got a medium hoping the dress wouldn’t be too short. But it’s actually quite big. If I were to buy again I would absolutely go small - I’ve had to take the armpits in a bit with some very dodgy sewing - ha! Also, the length could be a bit shorter for my size. But a great quality for the price and arrived in a few days. Very much recommend in a smaller size!

Beautiful beading and great dress. Easy to wear. A little short as I am 5 ft 11 but had a great night in it. Plenty of compliments. B cup so it was a little baggy on top. Nothing too bad though

Great dress! I got lots of compliments! It really is great quality! The back seemed a lil shorter than I expected but worked. I would say it fit as expected or a tad smaller. I ordered a large. I'm 5'3 and 150 I'm about a 10/12 the dress fit more like a 10 if that helps.

This is an absolutely stunning dress and I can't get over how much I love it!SizeI'm 5ft.5, weigh 127lbs, size 4-6. Smaller body on top, but larger lady hips and bottom!Size of DressI ordered both the medium and the small. While the small fit like a glove, it fit like how a dress would fit in 2016, not the 1920s. The small was figure hugging, short, and a little bit more exposed at the back. As such, I went with the medium, for a looser, longer and more elegant fit, which I would recommend to anyone of my size. The top part also was a lot more fitted.Final Thoughts:I received compliments throughout the entire night and I was overwhelmed by the lovely feedback of this dress. The black parts are a little bit more purpley-blue than than the picture shows, but overall the dress was incredibly well made. This only issue I had was that the packaging was a bit rough and it looked like it was just thrown in a bag, which could have damaged the dress.

We ordered a dozen of these for a dance team routine, and the girls just loved them. They are well-structured but still allowed for a good range of movement, and they looked great on stage.

I don't normally write reviews but I loved the dress so much I had to! I absolutely loved this dress! I was looking for something that fit "Roaring 20's" theme for my birthday, and this is the one I chose, and am I sure glad I did! Well made, and does not look cheap or like a costume. Not only did I feel great, but I stood out and received so many compliments! Fit perfectly (not too tight, or loose, but just right). I'm 5'1 and 127 lbs. I wore it for about 8hrs and it was very comfortable. Good quality. It could have been shorter in length, but I'm a shorty so the length was expected. Still loved it! Very beautiful! I wore it with a headpiece also purchased on Amazon. The photos really helped me when I was shopping so I'm posting some photo's in hopes it will help the next person.

LOVE this dress! Wore it for two costume events and got many compliments. Dress is fully lined and beautifully fully beaded front AND back. Dress is heavy! For the price, workmanship, and amount of beads, this dress would rivals similar dresses that cost $100+. Recommended this dress to many other ladies and would definitely purchase this dress again in different colors. Pic shows 3 of the colors together. I am 5'1", usually wear between a size 10 or 12 with a 36DD,36" waist, 43" hip. I am wearing an XL in the pictures. It hugged my curves but was not overly tight. I can comfortably bend down and touch my toes w/o worry about splitting any seams. The longest part of the fringe hit 2" below my calf and the highest point of the beaded hem hit about 2" above my knees.

This dress was a stunner! I ordered it for a recent gala 1920's event and I had people asking me for days after where I got it from. No one could believe it was for under $50 from Amazon! I am a curvy size 12-14 in a dress usually and I was worried that this dress would be too small, but I ordered the XL size and it fit like a glove. The beading was intricate and went all the way around the dress, which made it look so expensive. I am also larger chested and had no problem with fitting into the bust of the dress or having the beading on the side scratch or irritate my arms. If you are looking for a classy, well made dress...this is it.

Amazing quality. No one could believe the price. It looks, feels and fits like a very high priced dress. I danced hard for 2 hours straight in this dress and didn't loose a single sequin or fringe! I'm 5' 10", 135 lbs and a 32 D. Medium was slightly loose over all, but made it very comfortable to move and dance! Was surprised at how long the dress was. At my height I usually struggle with skirts or dresses being too short. This was perfect in every way.

This dress was simply AMAZING!!! Gorgeous!!! Beautiful!!!! It was well made and true to size. I'm a curvy girl and stand 5'3" and weigh 196 lbs. I did have to reposition my boobs in the dress once I got it on, but if you don't have many, you'll be fine. I found that it was easier for me to slide over my head w/o unzipping it. If you're curvier than I am the length could be a problem bc I I was about an inch from my butt being out. But that didn't stop me. My dress was a huge hit of the party and everyone wanted to know where I got it. You can go wrong with this one.

I ordered the Wine Red size XL. I'm 5'5, 198 lbs and have very wide hips and a little waist, so I was worried on how it would fit my body type and if it would be too small. It was a bit short, but it was very flattering and I felt gorgeous in it! I was surprised at how beautiful the details were and it's amazing quality! Received many compliments! Highly recommended!
