Great for a light read on a rainy day!
So I devoured this book in one sitting! Loved the theme, location, and loved the heroine's attitude for life. She had appeared before in the Paris book in this series as a minor character, and I had been hoping that Ms. Caplin would give her a book of her own. She had spunk and charm, and really grew as the book moved along. Loved Nick, and how it all ties together with book three.Ms. Caplin, your books are a fun read on rainy days or during the snowy season where I live. Thanks, and can't wait for the next one!

A good romantic read
This book is good and the scenery is to die for, and Maddie is such a wonderful character. However, some points I found a bit too much and even angry about. A character slapping another is what angered me the most. No one ever deserves to be hit/slapped by another and I thought those romance novels were left in the past. Also it was drawn out, could have been two books with the start of the book.

Perfect Weekend/Beach Read
This is a perfect combination of romance, friendship, travel, and food. It is the fifth book in a series, but would be fine as a stand-alone.The romances are drawn out and it takes a long time to get past the shallow beginnings, but it is quite true to life with the depictions of the types of people we all know. While reading I hated that Maddie was depicted as insecure, overly critical of herself, and lashing out because she was hurt, but only because I saw so much of myself in her.Like all good weekend read everything works out at the end....SPOILER ALERT: even though I felt cheated that we didn't get a scene with Nick and Maddie telling Nina that they were "together."

Wonderful as always
This author has traveled extensively and matched that with a great imagination and a storytellers heart. She takes us to wonderful places. Her characters have the hots for each other and get a little squirmy, but I've now read almost all of her books and am devastated to have only one left.

Cute Travelogue-type Romance
I’m a sucker for travelogue-type romances and had to read this one since I know very little about Croatia. The plot and characters are both well written, and I enjoyed the read. My only negative comment is that most of the story takes place on a yacht traveling along the Dalmatian Coast, so there’s very little about the country itself except for brief forays in the ports visited. But that takes nothing away from it being a cute, light-hearted romance.

great series
AllocJulia Caplin’s books are delightful reads. I can’t put them down. A must, fun read! Love how the characters from other books reappear. I miss them all when story is over. Now that is good writing!

Loved the scenery
The tour of Croatia and the islands paints vivid pictures. Enjoyed a few unexpected plot detours. Good read for summer.
