I absolutely LOVE this pen! I’m an artist, and have been considering buying a Pilot Falcon Namiki flex nib pen, for over £200. I wanted a pen that would give me varying line width, rather like a dip pen, but in a fountain pen. No need to pay £200, this pen with the fude nib does everything the Pilot pen does and more. The fude nib is surprisingly flexible when pressure is applied giving variable width, as well as the ability to vary the line width by altering the angle of the nib. It’s a comfortable weight and feel to draw, and is just perfect for me. I’m using it with Platinum carbon ink, waterproof and ready to add watercolour, and the flow is just great. My new favourite art tool. Highly recommended.

The Fude bent nib is so much fun to use. I like the element of uncertainty when you start drawing, will the line be wavy or straight as you glide over the paper, adds to the experience and the results are a joy. I'm drawn to the ink and wash technique, and now I'm more inclined to watercolour paint first from a quick sketch, then add the ink pen to finish off instead of ink pen first. I use Calli non clog waterproof ink to get the result I like.

Good quality pen that has a ver smooth motion. I am always retrieving these off my Colleagues desks.

A good, satisfying scratch to the nib - paper contact. A fine flow from a sturdy nib. The pen is surprisingly heavy in the hand, with the cap making a reassuring click when replaced. The cap, however, does not stay in place (on the end) when in use. I'd easily buy this as a quality gift.

I especially like the heft of the pen, I have a big hand and so it just feels very comfortable to write with.It is sad though that it doesn't come in black but this colour has its own effect and is still very nice. I'm european so I just use the normal nib. The converter is all right, if you fill in the colour gently there shouldn't be any problem. Always fill it with passion and patience ^^ it should be like a ritual. The top of the cap and the top end of the barrel is plastic but you need to analyse the pen to recognise it so that's not a problem. Fazit is; for the price, it is nice👍
