Wormwood, Vol. 2: It Only Hurts When I Pee

bad binding
Like most other IDW publications, the binding is defective . Pages fall out and cover comes off after first read. Also like a lot of IDW editions, the content is awesome; such a shame they don't invest a little in their product quality.

Great Series
I enjoyed the first volume of Wormwood so much that I ordered 2 and 3 as soon as I finished. And then I read them all in one sitting. This is probably my favorite of the three. The first is slower as it sets the scene, but here the series really comes into its own, and you start to learn about Wormwood's mysterious history. Wormwood vol 2 is imaginative, fun, and disturbing all at once, and is sure to cause no end of outrage in the Leprechaun community. This is a really great series, but stay away if you are easily offended...

Very fun and weird book
If you want something new to read and a weird kinda art style then check this one out. The story is great, twisted, gross, funny, and the characters are great fun. The art style of the book is fantastic also and it's just really nice to look at and get involved into this weird world. The first book was better but this one is really good too and I highly recommend it.

Standard excellent Templesmith artwork
Standard excellent Templesmith artwork, a solid follow-up to Vol. one. A fun and entertaining read, Wormwood is a series worth looking into if you're looking for new comics for your shelf.

Great book
Ben Templesmith does it again with a captivating story of leprechauns and giant infectious squidmen. This book proves without a doubt that there is no job too weird for a little girl's corpse inhabited by a inter-dimensional worm-god and his posse of ragtag badasses.

Welcome to Leprechaunia...
Far more risqué than the previous entries this is a solid series in the WW collection. Filthy humor, Templesmith's unique style and poignant but true to a point social commentary abound. If you enjoyed the first series, I'd wager you'll also get a kick out of these.POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT: there may be a few...5. It Only Hurts When I Pee (Part 1): Wormwood (WW) and company visit the leprechaun fights. WW gets bitten and fears the "spreading clover" disease after a leprechaun wants to go "Rumpty Pumpty" on Mr. Pendulum. After selecting a new corpse (can he still technically be called `Gentleman'?) it's off to find the Leprechaun Queen to lift the curse.6. (Part 2): Medusa opens the gate to Leprechaunia. Once there WW and company interrupt "The Harvest" of the Squid-Men, whom WW clearly has a sordid history with, as they gather leprechaun for the `meat and pet markets`. After learning Leprechaunese is typical WW fashion, he's escorted to their village and welcomed with a golden rain.7. (Part 3): WW finds the Leprechaun `Queen' (difficult to explain); however the Squid-Men also find WW. After being blamed for causing an extermination (via the common cold) the battle ensues. Leprechaunia is lost but WW and his pals escape and achieve the sought after cure.8. Segue to Destruction (One-Shot): The Pope is attempting to convince the Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse to commence the beginning of the end. Thus far they're content enjoying themselves: hookers, blow & cheezoos. Templesmith makes an illustrated cameo as WW's biographer (almost breaking the 4th wall). Anyhow, to prevent the end of the world WW basically gives the hotel where the Horsemen are staying a billion dollars - "saved the world again, I did".

It Only Hurts When You Pee Yourself Laughing.
Ben Templesmith is a twisted genius. Darkly comic and disgustingly perverse in equal measure. Wormwood is a great concept, unlike anything else. If you like your humour crass, your corpses infested by worms and your leprechauns drunk and sex-crazed. This is the book for you.

Great book and great series.
I have all 3 novels and have to say, they are all great. Very witty and brilliantly dark, I just wish there were more to read.
