Ordered this for the workplace last week and it arrived yesterday - it's VERY sturdy and comfortable. It is being used at a computer workstation with counters too high for a conventional chair and it's the perfect height; we did not need the extender pieces at all. It's also lightweight so easily portable, and some, ahem, substantial folks found that they could sit on it with no worries. (aka good for big folks!)I think we will be ordering at least one more, if not a few!Also, if anyone at Amazon reads this, I wanted to say you should remove the 1-star review that was put for this product because the person received the wrong item. And if that person's reading this page for some reason, that's not what the review system is for. You should have just contacted the seller and exchanged the item you got. Mistakes happen.Purchasing this stool would be no mistake for anyone!

I have a standing desk that I sometimes want to sit at. I tried a bunch of other options, including expensive "drafting style" office chairs. They all put my legs to sleep or gave me aches in my hips or back. This stool is minimal, cheap, sturdy as hell, and the harder surface actually keeps my posture aligned all day. If it feels hard at first, just bear with it!

We embrace tall people here with my husband being 6'4, my daughter is 6', one son is also 6'4" and one is 6'6" and these stools work perfectly! Even the grand kids, who aren't that far behind, love climbing up on them. Once they're on their perch, it's comfy, sturdy and effective.

Great stool that's an overall bargain: fine comfort, fine materials and made to last.

Think old school stools from chemistry or drafting class. I have a 46” counter, and these adjust to fit the height perfectly. They’re sturdy and still very light weight. I got the padded vinyl seats, which work great with kids. I really like the look and function on these stools.

The seat cushion is surprisingly comfortable. Height adjustments require unscrewing and rescrewing leg extensions, which makes it more sturdy than quick-adjust legs, but also a hassle if you adjust height often.
