The software doesn't work
This lock is a nice concept only if the software worked. Instructions are predominately in an Asian language. There is a diagram in English which is written very small, so you need reading glasses. I downloaded the software to my phone. Every time I requested a code number in order to register the software the link failed. So therefore, this lock is useless because everyone can touch the middle of the lock and get into where ever they wish to go. I'm not a return type of person, so I'm stuck with something that provides no safety.

Can't get it to work, and 4 stars on product page for a different product
Ordered while it was a daily special. Quick look at the product page showed over 4 stars with hundreds of reviews. Guess I should have paid more attention. The reviews were for a barn door handle or something.Received the lock, loaded the app on my android phone. I registered on the website, scanned the QR code for the lock, and the app had the lock information.So far so good. However, never able to sync the phone with the lock. Tried many different ways and many times. For all I know, the lock was not the one specified by the QR code. Oh well, back to the combination lock for me.The lock itself seems pretty flimsy and would only take a good tug to get break it open.

What product are we talking about?
Amazon is confusing me. Regarding this Kabul fingerprint lock, reviewers seem to be talking about a coded with tumblers lock. That is, non electronic. One review has pictures and it’s not the thumbprint style. Same thing in reviews of similar thumbprint locks. Reviews don’t match the product description.
