I absolutely love this sunscreen. I had planned to purchase another brand of SPF cream, but after coming across this ECLAT MINERAL SPF50 Suncream and reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I'm very happy I did. This is the first time I've used a Mineral as opposed to Chemical sunscreen and I'm a definite convert. Coming from a family of redheads and having sensitive skin, this cream is the best I have used. Great moisturising coverage and not a chalky residue in sight, as with other high SPF creams. It is non-greasy and has a lovely, light and fresh scent. I've been using this without moisturiser and my skin is hydrated and smooth and no sunburn, yet plenty of freckles! If you're having any doubts about purchasing....go for it! You won't regret it. Very competitive price, too!

I have just purchased my third tube of this sunscreen as not only does it protect me from intense sun, (I have worn this in the UK summer, in Spain, France and Australia) it also smooths and primes skin and wears well under make up with no pesky piling. I have added the ingredients list as a few other reviews have stated it does not contain the minerals they would expect to see but I can assure you it does, it’s second ingredient is zinc oxide. It smells amazing and doesn’t clog up my skin. Highly recommend for face and neck. This is a good sunscreen if you use actives on your skin like acids or retinoids as it is a high factor and kind to sensitive skin.

I bought this to use as a daily sunscreen for my face and neck. The product is silky smooth and sinks in easily leaving no white marks. It has been great even on my sensitive skin. The only thing I would say is that the smell is very strong and does remind me a bit of cleaning products, but you get used to it. I'm really happy that the product is labelled cruelty free but I would like to know more about this. I hope Eclat will go for Leaping Bunny certification in the future as this really gives me confidence that a product is thoroughly cruelty-free. Also it would be good if more of the packaging were recyclable instead of a squeezy tube. Having said that it is a lovely sunscreen and very good value when compared with similar products and I will be repurchasing. Thank you Eclat!

This is the best sunscreen I have ever used. I bought this sunscreen 2-3 years ago or maybe longer but never used it because I had others that I loved at the time. This year ran out of my usual sunscreen and decided to use it, can I tell you I have used it for 3 months best sunscreen of my life, I came to repurchase and realize it’s no longer available, please if you can bring this back, I am absolutely hooked. Mine is almost gone. I love it

I've only just used this product this morning as I'm in quarantine. I'm going to enjoy the garden today as it's a lovely day. On application I found it was a gel rather than a heavy cream which is what I prefer for my 50 year old face. There is a lovely scent, not a sign of an alcohol smell which I have noticed with the other SPF's I have recently used which made my skin feel dry. I was pleasantly surprised how my skin feels. The worst thing about SPF's especially with a high factor is your skin can feel greasy and have that horrible white cast which this has neither. I also used around my eyes which I haven't been able to do with previous products, no smarting or weeping, feels very gentle and comfortable. I will order this product again, it's my first time using a mineral spf and I don't think I will be going back to a chemical any time soon.

I have very fair skin that burns if I just think about going out in the sun. Unfortunately I also have spot prone and oily skin, and find most sun creams too greasy and pore clogging to use on my face. Thankfully this product is not like most famous branded suncreams. The texture is smooth and not too thick and absorbs well. The dreaded sun cream smell is very minimal, almost unnoticeable. It seems to provide good sun protection as long as it is correctly applied as per instructions, and did not cause me to break out. It leaves my skin very slightly greasier than with just plain moisturiser, but nothing too obvious.

There is nothing natural about this sunscreen. It is a chemical sunscreen. It contains ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, ethylhexyl salycylate, benzophenone-3 (also known as 2-hydroxy-4-methoxyb­enzophenone or oxybenzone), as chemical sunscreens, methyl paraben as a preservative, amongst many other ingredients that people looking for a mineral sunscreen want to avoid. These are chemicals not minerals. Mineral sunscreens contain minerals that reflect the sun's rays away, usually zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide, and do not contain any chemical sunscreen compounds. Oxybenzone (benzophenone-3), a chemical sunscreen compound, is known to get into the bloodstream, and can be found in urine after using products which contain it. Look it up. Sweden has banned its use on children. The EU Cosmetics Directive requires all products containing more than 0.5% oxybenzone to labelled "contains oxybenzone". Hawaii has banned it because it believes that it harms the coral reefs. Oxybenzone should never, ever be used on young children. Claims of this product being natural are false. There are also mentions in the description of some of the chemicals being 'organic'. This is mixing up chemical descriptions with a word consumers understand as being 'produced organically' i.e. without chemicals. "Organic chemicals" is a scientific description for compounds that contain carbon. Why are the ingredients not listed to see before you buy it?

This has a lovely scent and is easy to apply. It leaves no white cast on the skin. I used it for approximately three weeks before I began to break out in eczema, which I am prone to do with chemical sunscreens. The ingredients of this product suggest that it's not a true mineral sunscreen. Because of my skin's reaction to it I had to stop using it which was a shame because until then I'd really liked it. I'd recommend for those who do not have sensitive skin tendencies.

J'aime beaucoup ce produit, je l'ai achetée pour protéger mon visage et la crème est très agréable sur le visage, n'est pas grasse, ne laisse pas de traces blanches et après 2-3 jours au soleil je peux confirmer que je n'ai pas eu de coup de soleil (ce qui est rare pour moi car je suis d'origine anglaise habitant au Sud de la France!). La crème sent très bon et le design est juste très très beau. Je recommande ce produit à tous ceux cherchant une crème solaire minérale qui ne laisse pas de traces blanches et qui est très doux sur la peau :)

Das ist die erste mineralische Sonnencreme für das Gesicht, die keinen Weißeffekt hat und nicht klebt. Sie lässt sich gut auftragen, zieht schnell ein und hinterlässt ein angenehmes Hautgefühl. Auch der Geruch ist sehr angenehm. Klasse Produkt für den täglichen Gebrauch!

Me encanta que sean productos muy naturales, que no se testean en animales. Además son muy eficaces, los tres productos que tengo me dejan la piel genial, el olor del agua de rosas es maravillosa, el protector solar tiene una textura muy suave y no deja la piel grasa como otras cremas y el ser un de retinol me deja la piel preparada para dormir y cuando me despierto la siento muy hidratada! Así que muy contenta ❤️

Ottima crema solare, profumo fresco e molto piacevole, consistenza molto leggera, idrata ed è una ottima base anche per il trucco. Non unge e fa tenere il fondotinta. Mi è piaciuta tantissimo, sono davvero soddisfatta. Non conoscevo il brand, lo comprerò ancora e lo consiglio. Arrivata in un giorno, imballo perfetto come stile di Amazon. Davvero valida. Consigliata.

Love this product for everyday use! My French friends taught me to wear sunscreen each day inside or outside because windows don't filter out harmful rays. I don't wear any makeup so don't have foundation for either spf or moisture. This product is perfect. I was using a very high spf but found out that something like that with 110% spf is a CHEMICAL. Chemical barrier products are for very short-term use like you are on temporary meds that make your skin extra photo sensitive. Otherwise, long-term use of chemical barriers build up under the skin corrupting skin and this has a link to CAUSING cancer which both products when used well are absolutely meant to prevent. In short, I did only give it a 3 in protection from the sun because I have to reapply more often than a chemical barrier and my skin does sometimes get pink but...it's just figuring out when to apply the cream again. A good trick is to apply the product to both face and hands. If you can't smell it on your hands anymore You need to reapply. Please pay attention to how your skin takes products you may not need to reapply as often or you may need to apply it more...it is an individual process because we are individuals. I trust this product and have thrown away my chemical product. This doesn't build up on or under the skin.
