Mara Leather ML79108 Leather Drop Leg Thigh Bag Concealed Gun Pocket

Unfortunately, although this seems like a high quality product, I have received compliments when wearing it, and I really love it in general, the zipper on the main/largest compartment failed within the first two weeks of purchasing it. I should have returned it but hoped that we could fix the problem, ourselves. My husband was able to fix the zipper a couple of times, but it unfixes itself every day now, and I am past the allowed date for returning it. I am very sad and disappointed. I wish I could trade it for something very similar with straight zippers. The curve in the main zipper seems to cause this problem. I cannot recommend this product. It was expensive since it worked for less than two weeks, and it looks silly if you wear it with the main compartment unzipped and hanging apart. In addition, you can't carry anything in there. :(

For a fat girl this WORKS GREAT!!! I am super fluffy 280 lb, 5'5" gal, and I can keep it on my hip for the waist belt and above my knee with the other belt. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I cannot wear it over the shoulder and the leg, as straps are to short for my fluffy body, but WHO CARES!!! Great construction, REAL LEATHER.... no more need be said!

I have received so many compliments on this bag since I first bought it. Genuine leather, this bag is perfect for putting simple things in, and it will last a very long time.I bought this for riding motorcycles, but I've begun to use this as a teaching pouch (it's quite the conversation starter!) so I can walk around the classroom with everything I need for my students and myself without worrying about leaving anything anywhere or not having something I need within hands reach.Because I can wear it as a guarded belt bag, it's also nice for attending fairs, riding open station machinery in general, and going places where a regular purse gets in the way. Definitely worth every cent!

Mara, I don't know what bag you are measuring but it was not the one I bought and will be returning. From the line of the zip down to the end of the bag is 7 1/2 inches. The widest part of the pocket measuring across the bag is 6 inches. These are the real measurements. In fact, the top of the bag to the bottom is only 8 1/2 inches total. It is NOT 10 inches anywhere that you claim. I used this bag from the day it arrived to conceal my 9mm M&P Shield. I love the color and suppleness of the leather on this bag. The construction and seems are obviously good quality. Unfortunately, about a week ago, one of the snaps broke and I replaced it with a caribiner I had on hand. It was disappointing, to say the least. I've only been using it for about a month and the reviews and initial quality had me thinking it would last longer.I also noticed that my back was out as the entire weight of my gun was pulling my spine sideways. We can't have that. Yesterday, I switched back to a belly band type holster that sits in the center of my back to keep me balanced.Additional notes: This review is written by Nathan's Wife. As a woman, and a curvy woman with DD's, it is hard to find a holster that works. The boobs or the hips always seem to be in my way, and the top of my jeans don't sit in the right place for an IWB holster. I've tried many holsters and the neoprene belly band is the only one that consistently works and is comfortable enough to wear all day. I love this bag and still use it for a cross-body purse, but the weight of my gun was just too much hanging on my hip.

This purse has just the right pocked space for my VP9 SK. When using for concealed carry the bag doesn't slump in a weird way.. Thick leather and the stitching looks very nice. I'm so excited to not have to lug around a bag on my arm or stuff things into my pockets anymore. And it's a happy bonus that I have a way to keep a weapon handy without carrying a jumbo purse or wear a baggy shirt.

It's not too bulky, but does fit my Samsung Note 8 in either of the zip pockets. You can wear it as a purse or around the waist. You don't have to use the leg band if you don't want, as it comes off. Looks like it's made very solidly. Genuine leather. It's the perfect size, and I love it!

I liked this bag alot when I first got it. But I am finding I have to alter it for myself. The D rings need to be replaced and the thigh strap cant make up its mind, its tight in the morning but by the middle of the day its loose. Altering that as well to incorparate an elastic piece to keep it tight. Its a beautiful bag and real leather. Great for cosplay and everyday. I just wish it was a little bit better fitting which is why it got 4 stars.
