Alebrije OWL Oaxacan Wood Carving Mexican Handcrafted Folk Art Sculpture (Blue & Purple)

I have several more expensive pieces of Oaxaca carvings that are superb but this one is a disappointment. It is much smaller than it looks in pictures and cost too much money for the size. Worse yet are the aesthetics. We've all noted something really wonky and weird about the eyes. It's just not a pleasing piece of art that's fun or interesting to look at, and we've tucked it away so it's not displayed with our other pieces.
