French Toast Boys Adjustable Waist Relaxed Fit Pant (Standard & Husky)

If you receive these pants and they are stiff as a board - RETURN THEM! I almost did, but my child needed pants for school so I thought I could wash them a few times and remove the starch (I assumed that is what it was). HOWEVER, on the very first day worn, my 6 year old came home with a big stain. I washed and washed - still stiff, still stained. I dyed them with 2 packs of navy blue dye - still stiff, NOT navy blue. So now they are play pants. On this order, not only was it the first time I tried the "try it before you buy it" Amazon program, but I bought 2 pairs of FRENCH TOAST Flat Front Double Knee Adjustable Waist uniform pants. I hate myself for not recognizing these 2 different pant orders were seemingly the same pant, but 1 pair, the pair I am reviewing, cost $1 more. I thought there was something different about these pants since they were labeled differently. Here is the difference: this bad pair have style SK9001 listed. I thought someone tried them out and returned them on the new program and the supplier starched the heck out of them for the next purchaser. Maybe SK9001 is just really starched. I don't know. I just wish, once again, I had followed my gut and returned them immediately! I am thinking this 'starch' is the reason why the 2 packs of navy blue dye did not work (i dye items a lot so i know how to do it). I notice these pants are a lot more expensive now, too - $6 more than a few months ago.The other FRENCH TOAST Flat Front Double Knee Adjustable Waist pant (SK9280) worked out beautifully and they were $1 less!

French Toast makes the best boys dress clothes, hands down.Their shirt collars have a hidden stretchy neck, pants have waist adjusters and double knees. All of the fabrics are really heavy weight, wash well, and iron well. These will last.

My 5’8” 135# 13 yo son needs for a choir concert. Had hard time fitting in men’s sizes. These are relaxed fit. Size 20 measures 32” waist and length. Love adjustable waist band. Length is longer but that’s ok. Material attracts lint but seems durable. Pleased with quality and value and Amazon delivery.

My son is normally a 10/12 or a 10 husky depending on the brand. Even after measuring we had to order a 16 in these just to have a little wiggle room in the waist. They do have the adjustable waist band and the extra layer in the knees which is a plus. We ended up getting them altered for the right length.

These pants seemed nice but within 2 months my son complained of something scratchy and the knee area of both legs is falling apart and indeed feels scratchy. Of all the brands of pants weve had these are the only ones falling apart.

My son needs a size 20 for his height, but is so skinny I have to keep him in boys’ pants with adjustable waists rather than move up to adult sizes. However, the size 20 is so big in this brand. I swear my son could fit inside just one pant leg, that is how large it is. The size chart is terrible, as it did not give a waist size, just height and weight. Unfortunately, these had to go back.

Love this brand! I've bought this brand for 2 years in a row now, after spending $30 a pair on the land's end brand my son's school uses, and this French Toast brand is far more affordable and has last-ability! WIth how active my son is and how many pants I go through outside of school because of the holes he puts on the knee sections, I've been more than impressed with how well these have lasted and not ever one hole or sign of wear in any pair, I only have to buy more when he grows! And the nice thing is these always have a little extra length for growth and I love the adjustable waist on the inside, but the best part is the knee reinforcement on the inside, and the fact that I rarely ever have to iron, because once these come out of the dryer, they're flat, and look fresh and wrinkle free! My local meijer is the only one who sells these locally, but they only get one shipment of all sizes a few weeks before the start of the school year, so it's a matter of who gets there first for sizes. I was so happy to find these on amazon, because I've not found them anywhere else! They are pricier here on amazon, and I wish they had deals for buying more than one pair, but I know and trust this brand now, and will continue to purchase for years to come, since my son has many years of private schooling to go!

I brought these for my son's 5th-grade graduation outfit and they were perfect. I loved that they have reinforced knees. The price was reasonable for one-time wear but the durability makes them last as dress clothes.

Loved that they come in regular, slim and husky. We bought the slim and they were perfect for my son who is a size 10 in clothes but a slim body type. Very happy with the quality. It’s a thick sturdy fabric. When you turn it inside out you see that the knees have been reinforced with a light fabric as well. I would reorder these again in other colours.

These pants are comparable to the price paid. Still almost $25 cheaper than the local cresting business.

Perfect for a G7 student to wear at his graduation!

Good construction - slim fits smaller than expected and my son is a stick kid, first time I need to get him a 14 slim.
