From Burning Ashes (Collector Series Book 4) Kindle Edition

I told myself when I received the newsletter about this early release I was not stopping until I was done!! I a couple hours later I'm done and Stacey did not disappoint with this series. Going into this book I thought zoey is a cat with 9 lives but sometimes even a cat can't continually cheat death. From burning ashes had me in a trance all day I hung onto every page. But at times it knew some things as if I just knew what Stacey had in mind for this last installment. I had three to five I knew it moments but I still enjoy this book and the series overall and I will definitely miss these characters.. The Avenging Angel, The monkey, the pirate and of course the sexy viking.

Bravo! Stacey Marie Brown does not fail to deliver a fantastic conclusion to the Collector Series. This long anticipated conclusion (I think I had to wait 6 whole months!) had me wanting to drop everything and curl up on the couch to get lost in the Collector Series world. I was not disappointed. From Burning Ashes picks up right where Across the Divide leaves off. From beginning to end it is fast paced, action packed,suspenseful, and hilarious at points. All of our favorite and not so favorite characters are back including a special surprise appearance. As always Sprig steals the show with his snarky comments and antics.When it's all said and done, I have nothing but praise for this last installment of the series. I loved it! Thank you Stacey Marie Brown for one of the best book hangovers I've had in a while.

Holy monkey-sprites, the emotions! I laughed, I cried, I gasped, I growled, I swooned, I got hungry for any and all things honey-coated, and I eventually sighed in contentment (and I highlighted a ridiculous number of lines). In typical Stacey Marie Brown format, this book continues the Collector series' fast-paced, epic adventure with shocking surprises, devastating twists, hot romance, dark mysteries, heart-pounding action and slathered-with-honey hilarity.FBA starts right at the torturous cliffhanger from ATD (book 3) and somehow manages to pick up in intensity from there. Gripping ganger and horrifying attacks come from all sides--the DMG, Vadik and his fae men, and even from within Zoey's hodgepodge group of thieves and con-artist fae and hybrids--challenging Zoey's lofty goals of destroying DMG, saving her sister, freeing Annabeth, being with Ryker, refereeing the Croygen-Sprig banter, keeping the Stone of Destiny safe, and above all surviving! With all that, I wasn't sure how Stacey Marie Brown was going to wrap everything up! But I should know by now, that though she tortures my heart and soul with her dark, twisted tales, she is a mastermind of weaving brilliant plotlines with captivating characters in her fantastic imaginary world. A perfectly ending to one of my favorite series! A MUST read if you enjoy NA supernatural/fantasy.

This was an enjoyable book to read. It flowed well and the characters were fun to explore. It leaves you open to further storyline and also back stories. It had love, hot sex and excitement all rolled into the story. I love the relationships that develope and strengthen not just the main characters. Well done.

I don't think I can even explain how much I loved this book! This was honestly the perfect ending to zoey and rykers story! The amount of 'tension' between them during the first half of the book had me extremely enticed but I was more anxious to see what would happen next. And you did not disappoint! Although as much as I love zoey and ryker and their extremely hot love story and all the darkness that comes with it, I must say sprig has been my favourite character throughout! He honestly made the whole series with his quirky narcoleptic honey addict behaviour and his own special language such as crapple or aye aye matty, and I especially love his sleep talking!! So much to love about this book I could honestly go on and on and on! Thankyou for writing something that's so fresh funny dark and sexy, filled with moments of gut wrenching panic (you had me in shock a few times that I had to read faster because I didn't want it to be true!) and of course an epic love story and a band of heroes to boot!

where do i even begin this book was amazing i had so much emotion run through me when i read from burning ashes. zoey's story was told really well and im happy that everything came out beautifully, this review may not help you want to read it but i dont really care. i just simply want to say that it was an amazing book and i absolutely loved it with all my heart.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Definitely recommend it to anyone who loves out-of-the-box imaginative adventure, romance and a little action. The characters were very well written and I loved the unique angle on a love UN-triangle. I loved the family aspect of the storyline, her desperation to make her life what she always wanted but never had. I thought the growth in Tyler was very well written. I usually have a hard time with the hardcore male suddenly being soft with little more than a stubborn pretty girl causing the change. I love that the author added more depth to that part of his development by giving him a history with humans that both made him connected to them AND made him afraid of that connection. Without giving away anything, I thought everything connected well throughout. Annabeth was the only...well, just not as thoroughly developed character but I let that one slide. Overall very well written, only a few grammatical errors. Great characters and easy to read. Definite page turner. Would love a second series about Croygen and Lexie.....just sayin. :)

By far one of my favorite series to read and reread. I’m always recommending it to others. It’s fun, intense and fast paced. MCs and supportive characters have depth and growth throughout. Except maybe sprig. He’s awesome from second one, and he’d tell you so. Lol love to get a story from cryogens POV. Starting after the war. If you know what I’m talking about, you know. If you want to happily get lost for a few in an amazing story this is highly recommended.

A Fantastic Read. Highly Addictive Unable To Put Down. Lots Of Sleepless Nights. I Loved Every One Of These Books And Hope There's More To This Series? I Loved The Twist And Turn In The Story And Adored Sprig. The Way Sprig Was Portrayed Was So Endearing And Funny. His Honey Addictions And The Way He Melts Your Heart. Please Let There Be More To This Story 🙏. I Would Definitely Love To See These Books Made Into A Movie. I Could Reread These Over And Over And Not Get Bored Of Them. A Must For Good Verses Evil, Light Verse Dark And Humans Verses Fae.

When I first started reading this Saga I didn't think I would be able to 'get into it', boy was I wrong! I honestly think this saga has blown the darkness saga out of the water! Now, don't get me wrong I enjoyed both exceptionally, but Zoey, Ryker, Sprig and the gang stole me heart!This book is the last in the Collector saga and most definitely my favourite book out of the four. Action packed, fast paced, it had my heart pumping. The writing and the storyline flowed effortlessly! The love interest between Zoey and Ryker had me on pins and needles. The comedy I injected into this series in the from of one cheeky monkey had my crying with laughter!! Can't wait for more from this author!Stacey Marie Brown is one of my one click authors, I don't even need to read the blurb and I'm one clicking that baby!

I've been waiting for what has felt like forever for the last book in the Collector Series, especially after the way Stacey Marie Brown ended the third book in the series, Across The Divide. What an epic, teetering on the edge, hanging on by your fingernails cliffhanger that was!Needless to say I was super excited when I heard that From Burning Ashes was just around the corner and as soon as it was released was straight on Amazon downloading it to my kindle.I loved this book and it lived up to my expectations, much like the others in the series. We jumped straight back into where ATD left off and the book immediately had me on the edge of my seat and that lasted through the whole thing.All of my favourite characters were back and had major parts to play, my favourite has to be Sprig, the honey loving sprite monkey. He brings some light heartedness to what is actually quite a dark story line. But apart from the humour that he brings to the story, what I love about Sprig is that he has the biggest heart for such a tiny monkey and is as loyal as they come. He cares about Zoey, Ryker and the rest of the Collector family, even Cryogen (well just a bit but I'm sure he wouldn't admit that)Zoey is one of my favourite female leads, she is tough, which she has to be with all that she's gone through, but she has the biggest space in her heart to accept people and trust them too. I love how she has grown and developed so much through the series and in the culmination of her story she has really shone through, for me, as a true heroine. Stacey has really written a character that deserves respect and is someone we could look up to. The things that Zoey has experienced and gone through in her life would be enough to make anyone crumble and close in on themselves, but Zoey has the strength and the people around her, to fight through it all and still have a decent sense of humanity about her.Now to Ryker, the yummy, super hot, fierce Viking that I find myself fantasizing about. Wow, Stacey has written one of the hottest characters ever. In the first book of the series, I'll admit that I wasn't his biggest fan but I fell for him, BIG time, in the second book and by the third he'd wormed his way into my heart. In FBA, I just want to run off with him (though I think I'd have to actually be Zoey to get him to do that) He is the perfect partner for Zoey in all ways and he really comes through for her in this book.This book rounded off the series perfectly, it closed down all the threads of the story that were open and there was even a surprise visit from a character from The Darkness Series, Stacey's other series which runs parallel to this series and is also set in Seattle.I think Stacey ended this series perfectly and its definitely one on my list that I'll go back to and reread. Now I'm off to go fantasize about Ryker, me and a Chevy Chevelle car..........

OMG, a fantastic finish to a fantastic series. If you haven't read the first three - do it now, no don't wait, just do it!I loved every aspect of this story, Stacey never fails to deliver. I don't like a review with spoilers but suffice it to say you won't be disappointed. Sprig definitely at his best, Croygen - hotter than ever (if that's at all possible) and Ryker - well, someone you don't want to mess with (well, not in a fight but you would in every other way). Zoey comes into herself and is seriously kick ass in this book.I read this until the early hours, couldn't put it down and can honestly say I was very sorry to see the series end. One of the best in my view.

I really enjoyed this series it takes you through every emotion and keeps you gripped throughout very well written...I must confess I absolutely loved the character sprig..only book I've read with a 'fellow' narcoleptic in it,many times I chuckled out loud..please add to this series I've literally read the books back to back and gutted there's not other one waiting!!! I think a film based on these books would be brilliant...my sister recommended this series to me I'm so glad she did as I couldn't recommend them enough! Thank you Stacey keep up the good work.😁💜
