Easy to install swapped from nest to hive straight swap of wires

Functions well and after a year I’m happy. I rarely give more than 3 stars but this must have earned its position in my heart 💓

You need this for your Hive Heating if you want to use the Hive app on your mobile while your out and about. Also you will need this hub to use some of the phone app features like geolocation etc. Very easy to install and set up. Just plug it in the back of your router (WiFi box).Definitely worth the money this helps you to save money when your out or away on holiday.

The media could not be loaded. The ease of ordering this through Amazon took away the stress of finding a shop or delivery taking 3-5 days to arrive.Same day delivery and easy to install, ours is matched with an iPhone app to control central heating, plugs and lights - would recommend

Works great. Wasp more could you want?Running several Hive radiator thermostats across 2 heating zones with one of these is a doddle and saves you money on your heating bill.

Whilst we now have this installed, i had to get a friend to do it, i am not a tech simpleton but connecting the hub to the boiler and thermostat was harder than figuring out the speed of light!Wouldn't recommend for anyone that has little patience and i would recommend you give yourself at least a couple of hours to run around the house and get this connect

I had the previous version of this hub for many years. It sat quietly in its space in my TV unit, working away. I thought it might be time to upgrade, so I bought this. Piece of garbage. Mistake. First, only after digging around on the internet for ages did I find you have to contact Hive support to get them to remove the connection to your old hub. You can't do this yourself. Hooked up the new one via the app, tried to connect my devices ... nothing. Contacted support again. They said it was updating, which is why it wouldn't connect to anything. This is after 12 HOURS. What followed was a complete farce of trying to connect my heating, whilst finding the hub periodically went offline or into update mode, which apparently takes 2 hours. Between a wholly uninformative, useless app, unhelpful support staff, and almost 24 hours with no central heating ... I absolutely wish I had never bought this.

Gives the ability to control your heating and hot water from your phone and set parameters etc, however the house had already got one. Downside is that it’s not only revisiting the property but also the person so you can’t take it with you or use someone else’s if they have left it which is abit of a money maker if you ask me.
