Ragu Simply Pasta Sauce, Chunky Garden Vegetable, 24 oz

I have been checking all of our local stores for this and thought this flavor had been discontinued. It is the only jarred sauce that I find delicious, so I was so happy to see it here, and at a good price. Tastes almost homemade and I love the natural, chunky ingredients. So good.

the best one of them all but they stopped making them. get them before they are all gone compare ingredients. This one is the best.IMO

I like this sauce but I needed to add some more seasonings to punch up the flavor. Also, it is a little soupy. The price is a good deal. I will probably buy again when I cannot afford a better pasta sauce. If you can afford it spend a couple extra dollars on Aplenty or Rao's (if you really have some money).

I've been using Ragu for a long time. The garden vegetable is one of my favorites. It's nice and chunky. I use it over pasta or add it to other recipes. This site jar is perfect for a pound of pasta. It's well worth the money.

I have been using Ragu pasta sauce for a very long time. I especially like the Traditional style sauce because it is as close as I can get in a store bought sauce to the flavor of the one my Italian grandmother used to make. I use this when I don’t have the time to make Gramma’s recipe. I especially like this Ragu for baking La Romanellas large Ricotta stuffed pasta shells. Since the sauce thickens as the shells bake, I always dilute the sauce with water to thin it out otherwise it will cook down to the consistency of tomato paste. Add a tossed salad, crusty bread, your favorite red wine now “Atsa Good !” (the title of my favorite Aunt’s cooking column about 40 years ago.)

As always, Ragu of USA - a brand of long standing - makes very tasty and delicious sauces that delight discriminating consumers with a palate for basic Italian dishes.

No sweeteners added so the pizza tastes premium not like its made with Ketchup or local tomato paste. Others flavors like oregano and other herbs are already mixed in it so it is perfect for pizza out of the box. Not runny or dripping. Good solid flavoring that tastes really authentic. Best of other brands I've tried earlier.Highly recommended.

One can’t go wrong with Ragu - have tried all their different products and they are all top notch !
