You really should try one of these.
This ligature design has been around for over 50 years. The reason they still sell is because they work. They are better than a standard ligature because they support the read better and allow it to respond better. If you have been playing on one of the new Rovner ligatures, try one of these it will open your eyes. Your upper register will improve and the overtones will return to the color of your tone. I've been playing bass clarinet since 1970, tried many ligatures, this is what I keep coming back to on all of my clarinets. Wish they made one to fit my BBb contrabass.

Slowly slides up on the mouthpiece
This is the second time I've had this issue with Bonade ligatures. For some reason, if I tighten the ligature too tight, it slowly slides up on the mouthpiece, sometimes even causing the reed to fall off while I'm playing. It's cheap, but I would save your money and buy a higher quality ligature, especially if you play bass clarinet seriously. It serves my purposes for doubling well enough.

Very good but test for yourself everyone is different
This ligature provides great reed stability. I found when testing it against other soft non medal ligatures that embature controlled alltisimo register is more easily manipulated.

Is it any different than the original?
My daughter plays a Yamaha Bb bass clarinet and somehow managed to break the screws on the original ligature. I ordered this one to replace it. It arrived and looks, as far as I can tell, exactly like the original. She hasn't said she hates it, or that it doesn't work, so I assume it's good

This ligature is flimsy.
Bass clarinet ligature: flimsy, bends out of shape easily. It does not hold the reed firmly on all my bass clarinet mouthpieces. Inexpensive, bu t I can't recommend it.
