Elzetta A113 Single Cell Flashlight with Standard Bezel and High/Low Tailcap Combo Pack

It is very well made; just like a tank. It's a little fatter than I was hoping and a little longer, but it's hard to find this kind of a flashlight with the switch on the endcap. Elzetta has many options to choose from and this is a great idea. I use it for my regular pocket light as well as IDPA shooting when the stage is in the dark. The only disappointment was that the beam isn't as focused as I had hoped, however that is a personal preference. You need a beam to be wide enough to illuminate at least three targets or attackers. One reason to have a bright flash is to blind someone that is acting suspicious and you want to get away.

From the specifications and online comments, I had high expectations, and those expectations were greatly exceeded. I'm a fussy engineer who has never seen a product that couldn't be improved... until now. The Elzetta A113 is not only better than I imagined it would be, it was better than I imagined it COULD be... and I have a pretty good imagination! I do not think it's an exaggeration to say that Elzetta makes the best flashlights on the planet. I use this Elzetta A113 as my everyday carry flashlight. Whenever I show it to people, they are all immediately impressed by the obvious quality. It's unmistakable. You'll know where the extra money went when you buy this. For twice the price of other so-called high end flashlights, Elzetta makes them look like kid's toys.

The beam is a square profile instead of a circular type regardless of the distance from the surface I am illuminating.I don't remember this with the beam shots I saw in other reviews. I have seen similar comments recently on Candle Power Forums. I contacted Elzetta on this matter but they will not acknowledge the square beam pattern as a problem. I paid $142 for this light and will not accept this condition so I am returning it. This is a real shame since my other Elzetta lights are fantastic.

The Elzetta Alpha 113 with hi/lo tail cap is one nice little flashlight. With a slight twist from tight, the tail cap makes the light put out a nice map reader, that won't interupt your night vision. On high it becomes a 50 yard peripheral vision flooder. Everything is evenly lit, as in no real discernable spot per say.Built to last generations.The last pocket size light you'll ever need (so long as you do not lose it).Two thumbs up Elzetta.

The Alpha is my second from Elzetta (I have a 2-cell ZFL-M60). Love the simple UI and build quality. Light output is fantastic.

Great light, have it mounted on a rifle. Will likely buy more.

The best flashlights on the market, period! I have an Alpha 314 with Crenelated bezel, and the High/Strobe function. It's amazing. It feels like a tank in your hand. You can customize it with High/Low function and Standard bezel as well. This thing is awesome. It's mounted on my AR with a Gear Sector mount.
