Love
I love lentils! I can eat them with just about any dinner meal. And these are so simple to cook and quickly. The reheat is just as tasty as the first day being cooked. Definitely purchasing again!

Delicious! Better than store-bought bagged lentils.
These lentils cook up nice and easy, and taste amazing. They actually taste like they are spiced. But they are not. Just the blend I guess gives them a unique flavor. To me, they remind me of roasted red-skin potatoes. They are not mushy. They are not bland. You don't feel like you're being "healthy". :D Taste great on their own as a side dish, or mixed with veggies and nuts as a kind of salad. I have bought these numerous times and will continue to buy them.

Quick and Nutritious!
I usually don’t like lentils but these Truroots sprouted lentils are delicious and flavorful. I cooked them as directed and they came out perfectly al dente. In some recipes, I may want them to be a bit more tender, in which case I will simply add them to my recipe for the last 5 minutes of cooking time and I know they’ll be perfect. One cup from the package made 2 1/2 cups cooked lentils, as described. I like to have them on hand, ready to add to soups, stews, and salads.

Fast
Why do the directions specify using 3 cups of liquid and 1 cup of lentils which if followed, leave you with less than a second cup of lentils to prepare. And you have to drain the liquid, so you're pouring away nutrients and if you use stock, well you get the idea. Nevertheless, they cook very fast and produce tasty lentils of assorted shapes and sizes. I find that they have a peppery flavor and since I love pepper, that's ok. If you intend to serve 7 people which is what the bag states are included in the bag, I'd recommend using no more than 4 cups of liquid. I prepare a lot of lentil dishes and use these bags when I need them right now. Otherwise, I use others.

So delighted to have sprouted lentils!
These are delicious, high quality, and SPROUTED! They cook fast and taste great. I love this trend for recognizing the health benefits of sprouting (beans, seeds, lentils, rice, etc) and this company is on the forefront of that wave. Why would I eat anything else if sprouted is available? I stocked up big time on their lentils and germinated rice after trying them. Now I hope they expand to other things like kindney beans!

These are NOT the soggy mushy lentils you buy in a can
WARNING: If you like soggy, overcooked, mushy, tasteless lentils, then these are not for you; you need to stick to buying ones in cans. However, if you are looking for a springy, slightly crisp-but-soft lentil that has tons of fresh garden flavor ready in minutes, then I highly recommend these.Remember, these are SPROUTED, which means they are meant to be eaten very lightly cooked, or raw when appropriate (like seeds or alfalfa). I see other reviewers saying they're cooking these for hours to get them soggy, and that is just crazy. You only need to boil water and simmer these for 4 minutes, then be sure and follow the instructions to let sit in the water covered for 2 more minutes. THAT'S IT! Then they are ready to eat right out of a bowl!I don't even add any type of seasoning to them, they’re that flavorful. No need to soak overnight or cook for hours or worry about the toxins found in cans.I bought 4 packs of these from Amazon and then found some more in the health section of my local grocery store for 1/3 the price, so I am stocked up!

Yummy!
I've been trying to prioritize protein in my diet. This was an easy way to add more protein without add more meat. Easy to make and can be used in tons of recipes. I recommend!
