Genie Single Button Intellicode Garage Door Opener Remote / Model G1T-BX / Works on Genie only Garage Door Openers

This is the smallest remote I've ever had for my old Genie garage door opener. It is about 1/3 the size of the original opener which was about the size of a deck of cards. The button is not spongy. It engages with a slight push. It has a clip to attach it to a sun visor or hang it somewhere like a door pocket etc... It comes with excellent programing instructions in case you can't find your original manual. Programing takes about 30 seconds once initiated. The hard part is getting the step ladder out to reach the Genie. The price was great too, about $25. My Genie was installed in 1996 and is still working great. I can verify that this remote does work with the older Genie models. The range is good too. My mailbox is about 100 to 150 feet from the garage and it works from there. I haven't tried it further than that. This is a great buy! Don't think about spending a fortune on the hard-to-find original model. This is all you need.

I read several reviews on this remote, especially the bad ones. I bought three of these anyway because I wanted a ONE-button remote and one of my original remotes basically died. I did not expect much, based on the bad reviews, except for it to set up easily with my garage door opener and for the remote to actually open the door. I did not need a remote to open the garage door from half a block away. I simply needed it to open the door without me getting out of my car. I am more than happy with my purchase! The set up literally took less than 30 seconds and and it opens the garage door perfectly, as I am pulling into my driveway. And the remote is so simple and cute!!!

Prior to purchasing I read negative review comments concerning operating range. I purchased anyway and am glad I did. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took me longer to remove the light cover from the opener than to program the remote. Literally programmed remote in ten seconds. Worked the first time. My driveway is fifty feet long, and so far the remote works just fine at that range. The push button needs very little pressure and makes no noise. If you need some sort of noise as an indication of operation, just say "open sesame" out loud as you push the button. Works for me.

This is a tiny remote control that is a perfect replacement for all Genie Intelligent Door openers. It takes one minute to set up with a ladder and the included directions.It uses the same thin calculator batteries as the old model and this is another small convenience. Thanks, engineers.This controller is tiny, so it needs to be mounted to a sun visor or hard surface. It is about one-third the size of the older intelligent opener controllers, so it easy to lose behind a seat or console. Mount it somewhere fixed.

This is a one button opeaned. It’s easy to train with your garage door. Took 2 minutes.The one issue I have is the button doesn’t have much action when you press it, making it hard for you to feel if you pressed it in or not. I find myself double pressing frequently. Other then that it works fine and actually works from a greater distance then my old one.

Have had no issues. The signal distance seems adequate. The unit itself is much smaller than other units which is nice.

Purchased to replaced worn out remote. Easy setup (instructions included but make sure your opener has Intellicode). While the previous remote had a very tactile click feedback when in use, the new one is very subtle. I've adjusted to it and don't mind as it's never failed to activate the door on the first click. Oct 2020 update: After the other original opener began to fail from age, I ordered another one of these. While this one was just as easy to setup as the first, they must have tweaked the button design as it gives much better tactile feedback when pressed.

It works just fine with my Genie Model PMX500IC/B opener from (1996?). Made in China. It is about 2 1/2" x 1 3/16" x 3/4". It can be used as a key fob or it comes with a removable clip for mounting to a visor. I have no problem with range and works from at least 75 feet.

Purchased to replace lost original. Easy to program and works like a charm.

The items were delivered promptly, the quality is perfect and as described: they work with my older garage door openers and require less space on the car visor than the original ones. There seems to be a tad of delay between the pressing of the button and the actual door movement, but this is well compensated by a longer range. Perfectly satisfied with the purchase and with handling of the order by the seller.

簡単に登録出来ました。従来のリモコンよりかなり小型になり、サンバイザーに取り付けても気にならなくなりました。ただ、従来品に比べてボタンのクリック感が低く、押したか押さないハッキリせず、更にボタンを押してから実際にガレージドアが動き出すまでに一瞬、間があるので、2回押してしまい、停止モードになってしまう事がよくあります。

I love it works great after many tries with others that did not work at all. Glad I found it and worth the money
