Perfect for Game Nights!
I recently purchased another(third) set of the 500-piece Crown Casino Poker Set with 13.5-gram clay chips, and I couldnโt be happier with the quality and overall experience! This set brings a genuine casino feel right to my home poker games. High-Quality Clay Chips ๐ฒ The weight and feel of these chips are excellentโat 13.5 grams, they have a satisfying heft and a great clay texture that makes them stack and shuffle smoothly. The denomination markings are clear, making it easy for players of all levels to follow the game. Professional Design & Aesthetic ๐ The Crown Casino design is stunning, with rich colors and a classic inlay that gives the chips an authentic casino-style look. They look and feel far superior to cheap plastic alternatives. Upgraded Poker Case ๐ผ The new and improved poker case is sturdy and well-organized, keeping all the chips, playing cards, and accessories neatly in place. Itโs great for transporting the set and adds a premium touch to the overall presentation. Complete Set for Any Game Night ๐ฅ This set comes with 500 chips, which is perfect for both small and large poker games. The inclusion of dealer buttons and high-quality playing cards makes it a complete package. Final Verdict If you're looking for a high-quality poker chip set that mimics a real casino experience, this is a fantastic choice. The weight, feel, and design make it worth every penny. Highly recommend it for poker enthusiasts and game night lovers! ๐

Excellent Poker Chip Set
These chips are excellent. They're heavy, not flimsy. They're smooth, not rough edges or bumps. They're very nice looking, very professional. The case is sturdy and has a professional feel to it. Yes, it's a heavy set, but the case seems to have no problem supporting it. One caveat is the spot for the card decks. The card cases don't quite fit in their spots. But, I wonder if the spots were made larger if it would make the tray weaker. But, it's not an issue for me, so I'd leave them the way they are (and no ding to the star rating). I don't know about the included cards themselves. I haven't even opened those yet. I have my own set of Kem cards. I like that the denominations are geared toward cash games (e.g., $1, $5, etc.). If you want to use them for a tournament, you might want a different setup, or maybe adjust for the lower numbers. Even so, it still beats sets that have no numbers at all. I prefer the set the way it is. As mentioned, it's a very heavy set. I think that's good. Just wanted to let you know. All said, an excellent poker chip set.

Awesome set of poker chips. Teddy KGB approved.
Great set of poker chips. The Case: First, letโs talk about the case since it seems there were some issues with it previously. The case feels sturdy and decent quality. The whole set is pretty heavy, so if you drop it I wouldnโt be surprised if the case got damaged, but short of abusing it, it feels like it will hold up fine. The Chips: The chips themselves are really nice. I think the colors look great, and I like the sparkly gold accents in the center. They give it a little of that gaudy casino vibe that I think is perfect for poker chips. I went through each chip and didnโt find any with plastic bits hanging off or peeling up center stickers (only mention because Iโve seen reviews of other sets where these things occur). They also have a nice powdered finish or something. Just the smallest hint of texture that makes them feel nice. The finish along with the color scheme looks cool & classy. The weight feels really good too. I donโt have a scale to measure to the nearest tenth of a gram, but they feel good in your hand and feel like quality chips. They also have a good sound when youโre clinking them together or splashing the pot. The Cards: The cards that come with it seem totally fine, though Iโve replaced them with some Bicycle Rider Back cards because I have a bunch of decks and I was already planning to swap out the cards. Other: The dealer button it comes with is super basic. Probably the same white plastic one that comes with the Costco set. Nothing fancy, perfectly adequate. It also comes with 5 dice that I donโt plan to use but theyโre fine too. Overall Iโm very happy with the set. Meets my expectations and I recommend, 5 stars.

Fantastic quality chips
Extremely high quality chips for the price. Edges are smooth, they stack flat and don't rock around or slip when stacking. Labels were all flat and even. The value markings on the labels are clear and easy to read from a distance. I believe without a doubt these are the highest quality chips you can get at this price. These are even higher quality than a lot of chips that are significantly more expensive. I bought a few sample sets of other, more expensive clay composite chips. I mean 75% - 100% more expensive, if you were to get a full set of them. The quality isn't even close. The more expensive chips had rough/sharp edges, labels weren't even, chips rocked and slid when stacked. These bargain chips even look nicer, in my opinion. When I was shopping around for this particular brand of chips, this package of 500 chips plus the carrying case ended up being the best deal. The price per chip ends up being the same as if you bought them in rolls of 25 from a wholesaler. You're basically getting the case plus the other stuff like the dealer button, dice and cards for free. Free is about how much that other stuff is worth. The case is cheap and flimsy. It looks tough, but the aluminum panels are thin and baaaaarely held together by some cheap metal brackets. I wouldn't carry this thing by the handle more than a few feet. I cannot emphasize how basic this case is. It's good enough to keep the chips safe on a shelf and that's about it. The dice are not casino quality. They feel cheap, extremely light weight and have rounded edges which sucks if you're serious about dice. The dealer button is the standard, functional button that comes with all cheap poker sets. Not bad, but nothing special. The cards are terrible, cheap, thin laminated paper and some were warped right out of the box. So, yeah. Fantastic chips at a fantastic value. Perfect for home cash games and small tournaments. The chips are nice enough that it's worth getting a better case for them. I'm going to give away the other junk like the cards and dice, they're not even worth the space they take up in my house.

Great chips. Everything else is OK.
So as stated by others, the case, the dice and the cards are all pretty low quality. The case is good enough, although I'll probably feel more comfortable carrying these under my arm, rather than by the handle. The cards I tossed immediately and replaced with 2 sets of standard Bee decks. But this review is pretty much just about the chips. In terms of value, you are getting 20 sets of 25 chip sleeves (500 chips total) for just over $100. That's $10/50, which is a pretty good deal for anything decent. And the quality of these is very good. The edges are smooth, the colors are consistent, and the stickers are applied very well. The weight and feel is very good, much like a casino chip. Overall, these made a good impression and look and feel very professional. The crown design is definitely unique, which is a nice touch. It doesn't look like many of the other variations out there currently (Monte Carlo, Outlaw, etc). Colors are distinctive and denomination correct. The side markings are nicely contrasted and look good when stacked. All in all, it's a really nice quality set.

The Best I Can Find
I spent far too much time studying all the various options of poker chips available online, and these by far outshine the rest. My requirements are strict and many (in order of importance): - Weight: heavy. At 13.5 grams, they're almost the heaviest I've seen. - Material: solid clay/composite. They feel great and make a nice, dull thud when you tap/drop them. - Markings: molded-in, not painted or decals. If they are decals or paint, I can't tell. I can't scrape anything off with a fingernail, and they seem very durable. - Colors: distinctive between denominations, with edges matching faces. They're easily recognized. - Numbers: large without large dollar-sign/etc.. - Looks: classic & classy. They have a simple, elegant look with just a bit of fancy gold foil. - No fake casino name (why is this so popular?). They have just one small, subtle crown symbol. - Denominations in good quantities: 1(100), 5(100), 25(100), 100(50), and 500(50). These also include 50(50) and 1000(50), which I don't see any need for. - Count: 500. There's easily enough for 10 players, I think. - Carry Case: it exists. The case is very cheap, and just barely strong enough to hold the substantial weight of this set. I fully expect it to disintegrate rapidly. However, the low price of ~$100 more than makes up for that, and good cases are available. After searching for several weeks, I haven't found any other set, of any size or price, that meets all my requirements. The normal price of ~$200 is probably still a good deal, but at ~$100, these really stand out as the big bargain. UPDATE: After some time of use, there's one thing - well, two things - that are missing from this set. Denominations of 10 and 20 are very sensible in many games - like using them as money in Monopoly.

Beautiful, heavy, high quality set!!
Got this for my son for Christmas and he is in heaven. Buying for a 17 year old is near impossible and he was so pumped about this gift he even called his friends to tell them about it (they loved playing cards on the weekends). High quality, nice weighted chips, great gift!

Cards donโt fit in case.
Disappointed as the playing cards do not fit into the specific place for the cards within the case. Paying over $300 you would think everything would fit exactly. Chips are a good weight though

Beautiful Chips and Case
I had the opportunity to visit my local poker store. I handled clay, china clay, ceramic, ABS metal slug and plastic diamond chips. The Crown Casino are beautiful in comparison. I examined all 500 chips and there are no errors. They feel so nice in your hand, with a slight chalky feel like clay. The new black case is very nice, so much better than the silver aluminum. No need to upgrade the case. The cards are paper, but fine for now. Overall highly recommended.
