Autobahn88 Hood Lift Support Kit, compatible with 2009-2018 Nissan Fairlady 370Z VQ37 (Black Carbon Fibre)

Everything was good except the bracket itself which is basically the most important part of the install did not fit at all. Tried every single adjustment even flipping the bracket to the other side and no luck. Also broke a lift support in the process of all the test fitting. Also the video tutorial that it takes you too didn’t really do a good job at explaining on how the extra hardware works to make the kit work

Overall, I am very pleased with this product. The only gripe I have is that the threaded rod ends could have been a little longer to allow for more adjustment. When set to my liking (meaning the hood support rod still fits), I had to resort to using blue thread locker to make the rod ends more secure; if not for that, 5 stars! Otherwise, the struts work very well and did not cause any of the hood bulge I have seen reported on some of the 370Z forums.One note: I installed the lower (forward) ends from above using 8mm rivet nuts instead of peeling back the fender liner and securing with the supplied nut and washer.

When I first opened the package I was not pleased to see how small they were, however I looked up the video on how to install because the instructions you receive are trash and they are working.

Does not for the 2017 Nissan GTR. They may fit other ones, but my 2017 GTR premium, they won't fit.

Nice struts only issue I have is that it only opens the hood at the regular standard height kinda lame.

One star off because the supplied washers are too small for the supplied studs.Struts seem good quality, installation very simple, 20 minutes max.Locking wire clips are a bit dodgy but work fine once you fiddle around with them and get them snapped in.

Many of the aftermarket dampers left hood slightly lifted from body of car. Theses fit like a glove.....

Put these on my 1998 R34 GTT and the fit great! Good quality.

Ordered for R34GTT and put them on my R33GTST. Fits like gloves!!! Nice touch to my build !!!
