French Press Coffee, Oui Oui!
I am so glad to have found this wonderful high quality, stainless steel French Press by Barista Warrior. It’s very sturdy and retains heat well, and all parts function perfectly for a very rich, delicious cup of coffee. It looks nice too, just exactly as pictured, and the wooden stirring spoon is a nice little bonus. I add a little bit of hot water first and then pour it out, just to start the interior out hot (not sure how important that step is, but it’s on the instruction page), add some coarsely ground coffee, a bit of hot water (around 195-200 F) to wet and bloom the ground coffee for about 30 seconds, then add the rest of the water and stir, put the lid on, and then after about 4 minutes I plunge down. Coffee is very rich using this method, and I find that this French Press retains the flavor and using this method, I get a smooth flavor too. I don’t really use the thermometer, as my electric water kettle already has a digital one, but it is a nice feature that could come in handy for those who prefer it. I bought this particular French Press based on quality and high reviews, and I’m really pleased with it. It’s very well worth the price.

The BEST French Press you'll own.
If there is a better product I've bought off Amazon, I can't think of it off hand. I'm so happy with this thing. First off, I only pour French Press, or straight espresso. I currently own 3 presses, two are glass and this one in SS. The fact that I can brew a pot, then come back for more and its still very much hot enough hours later....absolutely awesome. Super easy to clean, the filter comes apart easily for deep cleaning. The functionality with the thermometer is super handy, and the size is perfect for my lady and I to enjoy a couple cups each. In addition, my glass press's always seemed harder to press, while this unit is a very smooth action. I use it daily. Great value for the money.

This is a good French press. Durable, and I like the thermometer feature.

8/10 Unit for less than half the cost of the Fellow, but caviats
SOlid 4 star - as a barista ..the directions for making French press coffee that come with it...throw them away. The thermometer is ok but a use note - DO depress the pungerabit while steeping ...not all of the way but enoughtto penetrate the water with the integral thermometer...else it reads very wrong. Also it does read a bit off (use thermal gun to read inner temps during the mid point brew stir that the directions LEAVE OUT as a vital step. They foam harvest method they describe is literally bad form...depending on your brew ratio/recipe and mostly the roast level..use lower temp 195-198 range and longer brew time 5-6 min for darker roasts and higher temps and closer to 4min brew times. Also a midpoint stir is huge for breaking up pockets of dry grounds and recirculating them for better extraction. Unit quality is decent and fairly decent thermal stability during brews. To be clear...this is NOT the same as the $120 French press quality from Fellow....but it is darn near 80% so a great buy. Very pleased for now as this is not my primary brew platform. I mainly use the ECM Classika with flow control, then Drip is Moccasmaster and now this for third as French press. I do recommend a flat bur grinder for use with drip and French press ..my current flat burr is the Ceado Life X grinder running in the 6 range (just barely coarse/medium with dark roasts) and use the Mazzer D for my ECM shots.

Nice looking and keeps hot
I’ve had glass and other non-thermal presses, but this is insulated stainless steel so it keeps my coffee hot for at least an hour. The temp gauge on top is very handy. It’s dishwasher safe. Best coffee press I’ve had.

Smooth, Sturdy and Intelligent design
I used to be such a coffee method snob. I used a French press for years exclusively. I was the lady in the suite lounge having the staff fill up a carafe of hot water so I could brew a batch in my room. Or at my breakfast table 😅. After having my 4th child and breaking my last glass French press, I just went with an easy auto drip. It was a nice lazy season, but I'm so stoked to be using this French press! For the sake of this video, I pressed the plunger right away, but normally I'd let the grinds rest in the hot water for a while first. Y'all...it's SO SMOOTH. The difference between French press coffee and drip is incredible. You're worth putting in the extra minute of care into how you start your day. Also, LOVE the temperature gauge. That is a great upgrade. I will drink an entire pot almost every morning and it's nice that it keeps it so hot, but also that I don't have to wonder if it's still hot or not. The stainless steel vs glass brings such a huge peace of mind. I've had multiple glass ones break on me due to dramatic temp change and it'll be nice to not have to worry about that anymore. This is a strong, sturdy French press. It's got a little bit of weight to it but it's not heavy by any means. Very portable, you won't have to worry about wrapping it up in shirts in your suitcase (I've been there). Since it's not glass and doesn't need the external affixed holder attached, it's much easier to clean. I remember coffee grinds when would always get stuck within the caging outside the glass and I'd have to take the glass out, rinse the grinds away, put it back in etc. Won't have to do that anymore!

GREAT COFFEE!
Great Barista Warrior French Press! Purchased in Nov. 23rd 2025, over a year later I'm glad I purchased it. It works beautifully, coffee taste good, the temperature gauge is helpful. My only issue is that the water measurements inside the French Press is hard to see, it could be engraved clearly, but that is not cause to remove a star, overall a great brewer, I do recommend 🙂

Plunger keep breaking
This was a great product for 1 year…then the plunger broke. Customer service did replace it for us however now into year 2 the plunger broke again only at the end with the filters. Gonna try the customer service again…..not worth the cost if it’s going to break on the yearly 🤷🏼♀️

Good, but does not last long...
This product works well, but it broke after less than a year. It seems that the thermometer part at the top was just glued on, and after while, it snapped off under normal use. I contacted the company, but they ignored me. I would not buy this brand again, as my experience has been, once they have your money, there is zero support for issue with their products.
