Hoooked Lion Leroy Yarn Kit W/Eco Brabante Yarn-Beige & Taupe

There were so many issues with this kit! The yarn is like scratchy string; splits and difficult to crochet with. Even following the pattern exactly I ran out of yarn and the individual pieces did not fit together - legs and head out of proportion to the body. It was impossible to construct the lion as the instructions were almost non existent; basically said copy the picture!! The whole experience was terrible. It ended up in the bin as a dead loss.

I do not recommending this kit. Haven’t been able to finish it, as there is not enough yarn to close the body. Followed the instructions, but more biscuit yarn is needed. Such a shame as it was turning out quite nicely, hence the two stars.

Definitely not for beginners

I didn’t realise it was made of string, it hurt my fingers when it came to doing the mane. I was disappointed with it.

The yarn is very hard, the hook to beg and there was no filling to stuff the animal with.
