**UPDATED REVIEW**I'll have the original review under this one. But after my issues with the first cord I emailed the company with my concern and they were very helpful and quickly replaced the original cord. I've been using this new one for about the same amount of time before I gave it a new review to make sure the same thing didn't happen again and it's working great, no issues thus far. So a definite 5 stars just for the customer service, and having a working product is obviously a plus :)________________________________ORIGINAL REVIEW:Bought it to replace my old iPhone charge cord. It worked great for a while, but for a week now it's been a pain to get working. It usually only moves between 2 places, bedroom and living room, but now I have to fiddle with unplugging and plugging back into different sockets, turning it around in device and socket, etc to eventually get it to start working. Tried it with different adapters and devices so I know it's the cord. Disappointing because it seemed like it was good quality and sturdy.

(Edit) The service they gave me was phoenomenal as they helped me thoroughly to get a new replacement. They were very informative and direct and told me exactly what to do. I never expected less from this brand!I already bought this exact charger a year ago and had it for over a year but I lost it so I then decided to buy a new one. I am always conscious about my chargers and try not to turtle neck them and leave them in mint condition. But when i purchased this charger in end of April, the charger became unresponsive at times and wouldn't charge unless I held it in a certain condition. Note that I always take care of my chargers and never have a problem with them. It has only been under 2 months with this charger and it's already dying out! I may have just become unlucky with my purchase this time but I will try out other brand chargers to see if they can live up to Nexcon's chargers.

I first bought a cable from them about a year ago. I lost it somewhere at school. I decided to get more and I bought two this time. It was quite loose, like it would come off easily if you only hold onto the cable itself and have the phone hanging. The connection isn't as well as it used to be. Sometimes, I have to move the cable a certain way to have it work. I addressed the issue to seller and they sent me replacements. The new cables still have similar problems, but I'll stick with what I have for now. Missing my old cable and not liking the new ones. However, customer service was great.

These are great cables, I have purchased a over a half dozen over the past year. They are much nicer than the standard "plastic" charging cables; they are less prone to tangle, easier to coil up, and definitely hold up better than the standard cables. Plus, they look good!I also bought a couple extra charging blocks, and now I have one of these in the bedroom, the living room, and even in the car. Much easier to keep your battery conditioned properly when you have a charger wherever you go.I have also given them as stocking stuffers to my kids, and they love 'em too!As much time as we spend using and charging all our mobile devices, these are definitely work a few extra bucks.

I bought this for use with an iPhone 5S with a bumper case. The case will fit around an OEM Apple lighting cable, but many cables have a larger diameter cable and don't fit. The good news is that the cable works fine with the 5S, even in the USB3 connector on my Macbook Pro. Most of the aftermarket cables I tried don't work in that port. The bad news is that the connector is too fat to fit through the bumper case. It's 1.5mm to big all around. I milled approx 1mm of the aluminum off all the way around with a small file and now it works fine. The nice thing about it being an aluminum housing is that a small amount can be removed neatly. A plastic connector would have been more difficult.

I've been meaning to review this item but never got around to doing it. This product looked really good, and it worked really well- for the first few months. I ordered this in April and used it the whole summer without any issues. It was great. However, in August, I started having some major issues. The phone would sometimes display the message "this accessory is not supported" or refuse to charge. In fact, it would frequently reject my phone and I'd have to wiggle the connector a bit every time to get it working. I know it's not an issue with my phone because I used my friend's cable and it was fine. So it's a decent product, only don't expect it to last too long. For this price, I'd rather have gone with an Amazon cable.

Update. Still in perfect condition. Still feels and looks brand new. I definitely prefer these over any other cable, especially standard apple. The oem cable causes the touchscreen to register touches incorrectly while charging but for whatever reason this one doesn't.Will buy again for sure. Even if it broke tomorrow lol.Day one. Looks great, and seems very sturdy. Cord is braided nylon wrapped and feels like paracord. The plastic shield on the ends feels very sturdy and I don't think it will be prone to the normal breakage that occurs where the wire meets the connector.I ordered 2 and there was a very slight amount of fraying on one of them but nothing that bothers me.

Didn't work.Update:The original cord I received was defective. It didn't work at all. I left a one star review and went on with my life since I had waited quite a while before actually trying it out. The seller reached out and offered a refund or a replacement. I took the replacement and waited to write the review until I had thoroughly tried the cord out. The new cord works great. The seller is amazing. All in all, I'm a happy customer and I would order from this seller again.
