Teaching Positivity
I bought the book to use in my music classroom. I used it with my second grade classes. They enjoyed the book. We added rhythms to the story. I wrote a poem to go with the story about mantras and the students created and shared their mantas based on the thankful theme of the book. I also share with the guidance counselor at the school and she has ideas to incorporate the book in to her guidance lessons.

Reminds of us being thankful for everything...big and small!
Seamus and the Pot of Mantras is such a cute book! The illustrations are beautiful, bright and colorful. Mantra is a big word for children, so I was happy to see that the author made it clear and then gave examples in the story. I believe this story teaches children the importance of being grateful as well as being positive. It opens up a dialogue about being thankful. It was a great read. I love a story with purpose and a message that can be shared by both children and adults.

I thoroughly enjoy reading these type of children books, for they always teach my children an important life lesson in a simple and easy way that they can understand. It's important for children today to have morals, and the only way that they will obtain them is if they are taught from a young age.

Cute story.
Story feels interactive by asking questions of the reader. The pictures are colorful and adorable. The words were easy for my little ones to sound out but also gave them some challenges.

What a great Book!
This is a great read for little ones! It is such a positive book that will teach children how important it is to use positive self-talk. It's much needed in the world we live in today. I can not wait to share it with my students tomorrow. This book should be in every classroom.

My daughter (8) and I enjoyed this lovely book. The illustrations are colourful and fun and the characters are very cute. We talked for a long while after we had finished the book about all of the things that we are thankful for. A very interesting conversation indeed! We can both recommend this book and we are looking forward to more from this author.I will be following to make sure we don't miss out on future books!

Positive messages
As a follower of the author this book portrays a positive mesaage which is complimented by the writers narrative. My almost 2 year old engaged with the illustrations which accompany the story. The fact she sat still and listened and pointed to the pictures speaks volumes. I await the authors next book with anticipation.
