Dr. Martens, Unisex 2976 Slip Resistant Service Boots

I'm a welder/fabricator. The old boots are over a year old, which is unheard of. I recently dropped 250+# on my foot and these beauties took the hit. Only one fractured metatarsal. The fall destroyed my boot, but i absolutely went out and bought another pair.Boot is loose. I am a US 8.5 and purchased a 9. 8 was too tight, but 9 leaves me room to layer socks in the winter and doesn't hurt my feet when they swell. My new pair has much better support than the old style. I've only worn them for about a week before I was benched with a boot.This brand has won my loyalty.

While these do not have 1/2 sizes ordered up.. I bought heal cushions that stick to the inside back of the shoe which helps a lot. The box for the toes are a little big bit I can deal with that. Love the zipper on the side. Great boots for working on concrete floors all day. My feet don't kill me when I get home after a 9 hour shift.

I have been wearing 8-10 eyelet, lace-to-toe, full-grain leather Docs to stand on concrete warehouse floors since the mid 90's, and I'm super loyal to the brand, so they were my first choice when I needed steel toes for a new position in a warehouse. I have narrow feet and high arches, so I use Birkenstock 3/4 length arch supports and after the break-in period, the boots normally fit like a dream. Not so with these! Despite having narrow feet, the toe box feels like it's crushing my pinkie toe after about 4 hours, and despite this, the heel area is too loose, so that it rattles around my foot, leaving blisters/calluses on my heels. I actually sit down for a good part of the day, and if I'm doing a job that requires me to stand all day, I'll wear my Timberland Titan Pros, which are far more comfortable, but a bit more clunky. Pretty disappointed overall, will definitely not purchase this style again.

I love these shoes! So comfy! I am an 8 1/2 and got a 9 for work. No need to break in on the foot area. But recommend wearing thick socks (mens socks) to break in the top part of the boots cus it rubs against my legs. I’m sure it’ll go away after a while.

LOVE these boots! Took about 2 days to fully break in. I had the squeaky laces issue but a coating of baby powder on the tongue and laces fixed it right up. These are some of my favorite workboots I've owned!

These boots were comfortable and overall everything was amazing BUUT the sole didn’t last even three months, I figured they would last longer than that considering the price AND the fact that I had sketcher boots before these and they lasted me six months and they were 60. Little disappointed

I love these Doc's!! I bought them to wear as motorcycle boots and I'm more than satisfied. The toebox is wide enough that I hardly had much of a break in period and the arch support allows me to stand all day at work comfortably. They are a bit warm but that's to be expected. All in all these are a great purchase!!
