Why don’t you ship to Alaska?

It’s because of the lithium battery. However I just received a remote control car I bought from Amazon that cost $20 and it had lithium batteries. The packaging it arrived in said “Lithium ion batteries in compliance with Section II of PI966” I also talked to my postmaster and he said the post office will ship lithium batteries if people go about it the right way. When a seller won’t ship to Alaska its because they don’t want to go through the hoops to ship lithium batteries here.

If these are fake, I'm a flying pig with a unicorn horn. For many reasons. 1: the date of release for these matches up with the date of release for the official gen 2's. You think it would be a while for counterfeit products to come up, yk? 2:This is the official apple company they are under, and it sells all apple products. Apple could sue amazon if this was a fake apple company. 3:the product is shipped by amazon themselves. 4:the product is sold by apple, and as multiple in replies have said amazon is certified to sell apple products. 5:the hundreds of thousands of good reviews. 6: if these aren't real airpods, they would have been taken down a long time ago. Again, they've been up since the official airpods release, over 4 years ago now (march 20th, 2019 as of june 17th 2023 was over 4 yrs ago now.) I haven't gotten my pair yet, but based off these reasons yeah these are real. People saying in the replies they are fake are either lying, too skeptical, or aren't under the correct reply section. I will write a review when I get them unless I forget so if you even see this and decide to go on a wild goose chase for me have fun :)

Does this come with a lightning cable?

Yes, it comes with a lightning cable. It can be found by pulling up on the tab underneath where the air pods case laid. It is underneath the bottom piece of cardboard. Do not throw the box away without first taking the cord out.

Why is this the same price as the first generation?

This is generally how technology works, for example a graphics card needed to play a play a game similar to a playstation 1 game in the early 90s was probably about the same price as a graphics card in 2019 to play the latest cutting edge virtual reality game or crysis.
