Ignore the hater leaving a bad review, this knife is awesome and does what it was designed to do. Featherstick. It's an all around good camp knife, or as a backup, horizontal mount / draw blade. There is another version with an upgraded steel available as well. Get one, and teach yourself or your young ones how to make a featherstick and start / build a fire. God bless. Semper Fi.

Much smaller than the pictures make it look, and I’m not sure the blade length it accurate but will get smaller jobs done

Poorly designed handle for a small task knife. The thinness only adds to pinch grip fatigue. And the karambit-style finger ring in the handle is truly baffling. It's useless for the tasks this knife is meant for and it replaces useful handle length. It appears to just be there to sell to teenagers that thinks it looks cool and "tactical". It's the only reason I can think of.Blade shape is fine. It is a bit small for the nessmuk design, IMO, but to each their own. However, $90 for D2 tool steel in a knife that doesn't appear to be American made is well overpriced. The Tec-Lok type clip is a nice addition but the sheath is cheaper plastic. This is a $60 knife, really. But, even at $60 you would have better options. In the $90 range, you have many, many better options. Get a Garberg. Better in every way for the same price.

Black Scout is a joke and a half. Stay away from this company. Products are lame and made elsewhere. Just another lousy merch vendor.
