Love the material!
I love the color, it’s the perfect concert black. There are no pockets, but I’m fine with that. The only reason this isn’t a five star is because I think the dress is made for wider people. The waist was a little too loose, I’ll pin it together, and it’s about knee high for me. I do love this dress though!

I really wanted to wear it
I was pleased with the overall appearance and quality of the dress but it was a little too short and tight for me.

I wore this dress to church on Sunday, and I received compliments on it. It fits well feels nice.

Wardrobe malfunction
This dress has a lovely weight to it and is very flattering. I wore it out to a nice dinner with my husband. While in the restroom, I bent over to pick up a paper towel from the floor and the zipper opened up all the way down my back. It stayed together at the top but my entire back was exposed. I quickly undid my bra and snuck out and around the corner to wave my husband down. Fortunately, it was a cooler month so I had a jacket at the table that he brought and put over my shoulders. When I got home and slipped the dress off, I was able to re-zip as normal. I hope for this not to happen again but I will be cautious when wearing it out in the future.

Not quite as nice as it looks in the photos
This dress is ok for the cost. The fabric is NOT nice - it's heavier than I thought, very plastic feeling, and weirdly, it smelled like plastic. While it looks like a very retro Audrey-Hepburnesque dress in the photos, the skirt is NOT that full. I washed and lightly pressed as instructed and couldn't get all the wrinkles out.It will do in a pinch as a backup dress but was not as nice as I was hoping for the wedding I bought it for. I kept it because I had washed it, but I didn't wear it for the wedding.

Classic style
Love the style and true purple color. Fabric not so much. Really disappointed with the material. Feels like rubber.

Disappointed
The dress looked flattering online which is why I ordered it, but the quality of the fabric is very poor and the dress looks cheap not flattering at all. I didn't bother to try on as I knew as son as I saw it I would never wear it!
