Strong secure attachments for dog leads.
Heavy duty carabineers for attaching ropes and dog leads to. I have not used for climbing. I use for attaching dog leads to a body harness / belt when out running with greyhounds - need to be strong, not open until I unscrew the attachment and be waterproof and mudproof. The loop is big enough to fit around a dogs collar to allow some movement without digging into their neck. Have worked well and gives me the confidence that no matter how hard the dogs lunge or pull that they will remain fully attached. Previous cheaper carabiners have bent or the spring loaded catch has failed.

Great product, strong, light, much better than the usual high street outdoor shop options
I've had these for a while now and use them in combination with the Ezydog Vario4 lead to give me extra options.Don't waste your time with cheap/non-locking carabiners as once the dog is tethered up it is possible for the carabiner to be twisted round the lead in such a way that the lead can come away from the carabiner. Plus, a large dog can easily break a cheap one just with its pulling power. These screwgate carabiners by Domum are excellent, the snap gate has a good amount of pressure in the spring and the screw lock is nice and fluid, a quick flick of the fingers and it's locked or unlocked in a second. The size and shape work well for my needs, they are not too large like some, they're very light, and are a nice regular shape.

Not for climbing!
I wouldn't use these for climbing. But then, I'd only use Petzl for that. For the price they seem ok, smaller than I expected, very lightweight. The screwgate spins freely with a flick of the thumb, but is lose on it's thread, wobbly. Due to the size, your thumb or finger blocks the gate when you open it making it hard to get anything in or out.

awesome deal. I use one of these to secure ...
Very strong, awesome deal. I use one of these to secure my dog sometimes, and it works flawlessly. The other one has been used to secure different things, some weighting more than 100kg. Highly recommended.

glorified keyring
works really well keeping large bunch of keys together securely while being easy to remove subsets easily

FAKE - NOT SUITABLE FOR CLIMBING
item delivered 3 of the 4 carabiners, item box notes max weight of 200kg, web listing is 2200 and swaps to 1200kg depending on where its referenced.Item is also listed under non-locking climbing carabiner's when it is locking, and not suitable for climbing.Would make an excellent key chain however only for 3 sets of keys.

feeling safer
Have used these to attach the dogs safety clips to the frame of the car as I was fed up with finding the dogs had unclipped themselves from the seat belt clip
