I usually do one or two light spritzes onto the top of his head, and then use a comb to smooth it through the top and front of his hair. He’s sensitive to strong scents, and this hasn’t bothered him at all. It gives his hair just enough hold to keep a little side part or slight lift in the front while he’s at preschool. By the time he gets home for lunch, it’s mostly back to his natural look, which I actually prefer. It doesn’t leave flakes or make his hair crunchy. My only caution is not to get heavy handed. The first time I used it, I sprayed too much and he definitely had that “Mr. Slick” over-styled look. A little goes a long way. Overall, it’s been a solid, everyday styling option for us.

This is great for the slicked back look and keeping frizz down. . As long as you use enough it stays all day. Took my girls to school and they came home with hair still looking controlled. It does not leave any residue and does not make hair hard. So effective I bought another one for back up. You have to really press the nozzle for a good spray if you do it slow it kind of leaks out a dribble.
