collapses easily
I was really excited to receive this product. In theory, it works just as I wanted it to and was a good barricade between my new kitten and older cat while they got used to each other. However, the playpen folds up super easy. I expand it and then it folds up not even a minute later and does not stay open no matter what I try. It folds up even faster when there is a pet in there. It also came in with stains where the darker color had bled onto the white color. Overall, it is not sturdy or durable enough for what I needed it for.

Love this puppy pen
Love this puppy pen. Works great for my 10 week old yorkie. She is approximately 2 lbs and sleeps in it at night.

Good for very small and young puppies
I bought this to take to work with me when I first got my Dalmatian puppy and he was too young to be home by himself (6 weeks). It was really great at first, easy to pop up, would keep him in one spot, and was very cute. But when he turned abut 8 weeks old, he was jumping up on the sides after waking up from his nap and flipping the entire playpen over. His water bowl would launch across my office, food would go everywhere, and my little escape artist would be roaming the halls. So this isn't sturdy in the least, it's pretty flimsy and has a tendency to keep folding up on itself if you hit the seam just right. The lining on the bottom is also not water proof. I thought with it being a plastic material that it would hold water, but I found out the hard way that water (and pee) goes straight through the lining and makes an even bigger mess than if the bottom was just open (it's not removable). This would be great if you needed a place to keep very little and very young puppies in one place, but after about 7 to 8 weeks, the energy levels and intelligence of some dogs will exceed this playpen's ability to hold them.

Keep an eye on it, this is not very stable.
This portable kennel is useless as far as I'm concerned. There's no weight in the bottom of it. If the dog leans on the side of it, the kennel will fall over. So now your dog is trapped in this thing that's now on its side. There's just not enough rigidity in it. May try to cut out a piece of plywood to make a good floor for it, then put in a dog bed. Otherwise this kennel serves no purpose.

Durability is A-1!
This playpen was worth every bit of the money I paid for it. Having said that, you need to think about how it will be utilized. I foster "bottle baby" kittens and for them, this playpen is priceless. The large playpen is large enough for a small fabric house, a litter box, and a food and water dish. I place a heating pad under the playpen and the kittens have a nice cozy, safe, contained place to play. The large is comfortable enough for 3 kittens to have plenty of room to play. Yes, they eventually learn that they can claw their way out of the playpen but the mesh has been able to withstand those tiny claws without ripping even the slightest hole. Lately, I've had 2 puppies in the playpen and that is able to hold them until they are about 5 weeks old and then the pups become strong enough to collapse the sides of the playpen. So, the playpen ended up being their nightly place to sleep.Being able to fold it up and go was very convenient. It takes a little practice to fold but still worth the money.

Great quality for the price!
As this item was only 20 bucks I wasn't expecting much. I needed a temporary solution to having 5 kittens running around the house with 2 adult cats also inside. This was a perfect solution to litter training the kittens! They were litter trained in 1 day! I also used it to keep them contained when no one was home and to do things around the house so they wouldn't get kicked or stepped on while following me around and to keep them out of trouble at night as well. It has held up to a great deal of abuse with no breaking, tearing, collapsing, or destruction of any kind! I simply Clorox wiped the bottom of it when needed, let it dry, and it was ready for use! It was very easy to pop up and collapse and fit perfectly in the carrying case. This is a great solution for anyone who just needs something to assist in house breaking any furr babies. I highly recommend

Value for money, does the job, keeps my puppy safe.
This play one keeps my 2lb puppy safe and away from foot traffic when I am busy, giving me peace of mind allowing me to get in with my chores without any fear of treading on him. I wish it had a purpose placed figured opening to place a small animal water bottle as some of the other i have used in the past, then I could have attached his travel bowl to the side to stop him pushing it around when playing and spilling his waterThe only real down side i have found is with the zipper on the door section. I do not know if my puppy is super intelligent or the zip has a fault, but when the floor is closed to contain him, he somehow managed to get the double zips open and squeezed out. The solution... Close both zippers at the top on one side. So far he has not figured out how to do an escaping trick. Time will tell, lol. Never had an animal do this before, maybe I should rename him Houdini.

Great for taking cat outside
I purchased this for my parents for their indoor cat who is determined to be an outdoor cat. He escaped the house and was missing for a full week before returning much lighter. Despite this traumatic experience he is determined to go back outside on another adventure, we know what they say about curiosity and cats. We’re hoping this will be the safe solution. The medium has enough room for at least two cats if they are okay with being in close corridors. If using for a single cat they will have a comfortable amount of leg room to lay and pace around for different angles to see outside. It comes packaged flat in a carrying sleeve. It easily folds out and pops up like a little tent. The top unzips easily so you can put your pet inside. The mesh on the sides is thick so if your cat or puppy is going to chew through it, it should take them long enough that you would notice in time to stop them. I was nervous as other similar play pens use a material similar to mosquito netting. There is a thin tarp-like material on the floor which looks like it will be easily to spray down if needed!
