Q: what is the color of the dial?

I looks black , but it's actually green, very dark green. It is a good watch I use it for work. I am a bridge carpenter, imagine lots of banging and tough handling, dirt and sweting, etc. Very good for the price.

Q: Movement made in japan?

Yes at that time. Presently don't know if they still using Japanese movement

Q: How to shorten the strap?

Go to a jeweler and lay $10. Some do it for free to get your business. You need the right tools and the experience and the coordination. I had non of these.

Q: ¿Es verdad que incluye el idioma español en el indicador de día?

Así es. La versión que recibí en Colombia viene con el indicador de fecha en inglés y en español, que se ajusta cada noche dependiendo de la opción que tú escojas.
