The Skinvestigator: Rash Guard Paperback – September 27, 2011

Cronin's influences are obviously pulp crime, but his settings, characters and situations are solidly modern-day. Before reading this and his other two Skinvestigator novels, you'll probably wonder what dermatology has to do with detective work. After learning about sunburn, tattoos, cosmetic surgery, and other CSI-styled flesh clues, you'll be thoroughly entertained. The science is interesting, but never gets in the way of the intrigue and action, punctuated by the sunny, Florida setting, so close to Cuba. Cronin's humor also shows through. I was looking for light detective reading and didn't expect to care about these characters so much! Definitely 5 stars.

"Skinfectious"! Since reading the first ("Skinaugural") novel in this trilogy, I have been "Skintensely" awaiting the second "Skinstallment" in this series. I am "Skincapable" of putting any of the books in this series down. Awesome is a "Skinadequate", "Skinsufficient", and "Skincomplete" description of this series. The main character, the "Skindescribable" and "Skinventive" Dr. Harry Poe, returns in part two of the trilogy. This novel is full of "Skintrigue" and "Skinformation" and certainly "Skindicative" of the multi talents of this superb author. The novel is ripe with "Skintrigue" and "Skincessant" action. It is "Skinconceivable" that this series will not lead to a feature "Skindependent" film production. Terry Cronin is the true Physician author "Skincarnate".

I'm hooked, can't wait for more in the series!! Each book delves deeper into plots that are cutting edge! Like how the characters stay tre to character.

Another excellent book from Terry Croniin. The intriguing delimena of giving up his desire of being a detective against his love for his family keep me reading thru the night. The character are believable and I was really able to connect with them. The book is an easy read with lots of interesting medical facts interwined. I definitely recommend this book.
