1 Pair Multi-purpose Double Featherboards Woodworking Table Saws Feather Loc Board Set

I've always gone commando with my power tools... too many years in the trades and a seriously bad sense of immortality. As I get older, I get more sensible and after watching endless Youtube vids with professionals using these things... took the plunge. They're awesome. Just ordered a separate set for my router table!

1st, the box was NOT even taped !2nd, there were NO instructions !A lot of pieces that look and feel more plastic, than a polymer ?!The fingers or blades are kind of stiff. The Amazon ad shows that T-bolts come with this package.I did not get ANY T-bolts. I fiddled around trying to figure out what went to what and where it needs to be...Got the table feather board to work but it's a little small. The feather board for my fence can NOT and will NOT work on my factory OEM Rigid fence.That feather board is too small as well, and will not go any higher up to even run a 1/8" thick piece of wood. The feather board fingers just sit on top of the table saw top.So, I can't even use 1 of the feather boards. I would have to rig up some type of new fence for it to even work worth a flip.

With versatility comes complexity. With no instructions provided, I had to guess at how to assemble for my table saw. After some trial, and error, it works great.

Great product, works just fine and it helps to ensure a safe clean and accurate cut.

Product is nice enough and will probably work well once I figure out how to assemble the things. Absolutely mind-boggling that anything with this many pieces would ship without any thought to instructions. Now I realize that it should be obvious and if these were simple feather boards then it might not be so frustrating. But with the option to stack these, the combination of parts is confusing. I figured I would look at the product page but the images there are of no help and in fact show assembly of the T-Slot guides different from how I would have guessed it. No idea what all the different screws are for other than long (for stacking) and short. It irritates me that companies can be so lackadaisical about their product as to not include fundamental instructions.

These really are well-built -- should last a long time -- BUT...the REACH needs to be a tad greater; If these were just a 1/2 inch greater reach, they would be fine at least on my Ridgid contractor table saw. Oh, and the angular guide on one side and straight guide on the other? I personally do not see the advantage (wish I had gotten the straight/parallel type).

I love these feather boards, it is difficult for me to handle smaller pieces of wood on the table saw and they are like having another set of hands. Very adjustable on my DeWalt DW-745. I'm just learning to use them, they came in real handy when I made the oak runners for my saw sled.

A bit overpriced, but worth it. I am thinking about ordered another pair. When I need them they are extremely useful.
